A line art wall art print of a woman's face tilted upward, a large open flower resting where her eyes would be, drawn in black on pale cream.
About the artwork
The face is turned up and to the right, shown only by the curve of the cheek, the jaw and a pair of full lips. A many-petalled flower with pointed petals covers the upper half of the face in place of eyes and hair. A large hoop earring hangs below it, and one hand rises to touch her neck just under the chin. A single flowing line sweeps out to the left to form the shoulder. The strokes have a slightly dry, pen-like edge, and “La Femme” is written in script at the lower left.
Why you'll love it
- Feminine and understated. A soft subject told in very few lines.
- Florals without the frills. The bloom is outlined, not coloured, so it stays modern.
- A natural bedroom piece. Gentle enough for the wall above a dressing table.
- Made to order. Printed after you buy, colour-managed, never warehoused.
Sizes and materials
- Paper — archival matte, rolled and unframed. Thirteen sizes in all: 8" x 12" through 30" x 40", plus A4–A1.
- Matte canvas — stretched on a wooden bar, no glare, ready to hang. 12" x 16" to 30" x 40".
- Framed canvas — solid wood floating frame in white, black, espresso or natural. 12" x 16" to 30" x 40".
- Pigment-based archival inks, rated to resist fading for decades indoors.
Styling it at home
Hang it in a bedroom, a dressing area or a bathroom with warm lighting, where its quiet lines can be seen up close. It pairs well with blush linen, rattan and dried flowers in a vase. White or natural frames keep it airy; black gives the line more punch. It makes a natural pair with the full-figure single-line print in the same range.
Shipping and care
Unframed prints ship rolled in a protective tube. Framed canvas arrives ready to hang. Keep prints out of direct sunlight to protect the colour, and dust canvas with a dry, soft cloth.
Questions people ask
What does the text say? “La Femme”, in a handwritten-style script at the bottom left.
What kind of flower is it? A stylised many-petalled bloom; it is not drawn as a specific species.
Print & materials
Every design is made to order on one of three materials:
- Fine art paper — thick archival gallery-grade paper with a smooth matte finish, printed with fade-resistant pigment inks. The choice if you already own a frame.
- Matte canvas — gallery-wrapped over a solid wood stretcher, ready to hang straight out of the box. No glass, no glare.
- Framed canvas in white, black, espresso or natural wood — a slim solid-wood floating frame with the hanging hardware already fitted. Natural and espresso suit warm, timber-heavy rooms; white and black sit better in minimalist and monochrome spaces.
Sizes run from 8 x 12 inches up to large statement pieces, plus A4, A3, A2 and A1 for standard European frames. The exact sizes available for this design are listed in the Size menu above.

Damage, defects & care
Every piece is printed for you after you order, so we cannot take a print back for a change of mind — please check the size and material first. Our Size Guide shows every size drawn to scale.

Three ways to print it.
Same artwork, same colour-managed printing — the material decides how it hangs and how much wall it holds.

Thick archival gallery-grade paper with a smooth matte finish, printed with fade-resistant pigment inks.
- The most affordable option, and the one to pick if you already own a frame.
- Reads slightly softer than canvas.
- Ships rolled in a rigid tube.
Matte canvas
Gallery-wrapped over a solid wood stretcher, ready to hang straight out of the box.
- No glass, so no glare — good for bright rooms.
- Holds a touch more contrast than paper.
- Boxed with corner guards.
Framed canvas
A slim solid-wood floating frame with the hanging hardware already fitted, in white, black, espresso or natural wood.
- Natural and espresso suit warm, timber-heavy rooms.
- White and black sit better in minimalist and monochrome spaces.
