A mid century abstract botanical wall art print of three upright black stems lined with half-moon leaves, joined by a single looping line on warm cream.
About the artwork
Each leaf is a quarter circle, and they grow in matching pairs up each stem like ears of wheat. The three stems are staggered: the left one sits lowest, the middle one a step higher and the right one highest, reaching near the top of the sheet. One continuous line links them, rising in an arch over from the top of the left stem to the middle stem, then dipping in a U from the base of the middle stem to the right one, so the whole design snakes across the page. The flat black shapes have a soft grain, and the cream ground is plain.
Why you'll love it
- Retro and tidy. Repeating shapes with a nod to Scandinavian pattern.
- One unbroken line. The loop ties the three stems together.
- Strong in any size. Bold black reads well from across a room.
- Made to order. Printed after you buy, colour-managed, never warehoused.
Sizes and materials
- Paper — archival matte, rolled and unframed. Thirteen sizes in all: 8" x 12" through 30" x 40", plus A4–A1.
- Matte canvas — stretched on a wooden bar, no glare, ready to hang. 12" x 16" to 30" x 40".
- Framed canvas — solid wood floating frame in white, black, espresso or natural. 12" x 16" to 30" x 40".
- Pigment-based archival inks, rated to resist fading for decades indoors.
Styling it at home
Hang it above a teak sideboard, a mid century armchair or a kitchen bench. Mustard, olive and walnut all look good beside it. Natural or espresso frames lean into the retro feel; black makes it graphic.
Shipping and care
Unframed prints ship rolled in a protective tube. Framed canvas arrives ready to hang. Keep prints out of direct sunlight to protect the colour, and dust canvas with a dry, soft cloth.
Questions people ask
Is it a real plant? No — the leaves are geometric half-moon shapes, not a specific plant.
Is there any text? No, just the three stems and the connecting line.
Print & materials
Every design is made to order on one of three materials:
- Fine art paper — thick archival gallery-grade paper with a smooth matte finish, printed with fade-resistant pigment inks. The choice if you already own a frame.
- Matte canvas — gallery-wrapped over a solid wood stretcher, ready to hang straight out of the box. No glass, no glare.
- Framed canvas in white, black, espresso or natural wood — a slim solid-wood floating frame with the hanging hardware already fitted. Natural and espresso suit warm, timber-heavy rooms; white and black sit better in minimalist and monochrome spaces.
Sizes run from 8 x 12 inches up to large statement pieces, plus A4, A3, A2 and A1 for standard European frames. The exact sizes available for this design are listed in the Size menu above.

Materials
Three ways to print it.
Same artwork, same colour-managed printing — the material decides how it hangs and how much wall it holds.
Fine art paper
Thick archival gallery-grade paper with a smooth matte finish, printed with fade-resistant pigment inks.
- The most affordable option, and the one to pick if you already own a frame.
- Reads slightly softer than canvas.
- Ships rolled in a rigid tube.
Matte canvas
Gallery-wrapped over a solid wood stretcher, ready to hang straight out of the box.
- No glass, so no glare — good for bright rooms.
- Holds a touch more contrast than paper.
- Boxed with corner guards.
Framed canvas
A slim solid-wood floating frame with the hanging hardware already fitted, in white, black, espresso or natural wood.
- Natural and espresso suit warm, timber-heavy rooms.
- White and black sit better in minimalist and monochrome spaces.
- The usual choice for a feature wall — nothing to assemble.
