A brushstroke wall art print of a black diagonal sweep and spattered marks on greige, crossed by fine white and pencil-gray scratch lines.
About the artwork
The main stroke swings down from the top left corner toward the centre, splashing and speckling at its edges. Below it sits a dark blot shaped a little like a butterfly, and a tall black column rises on the lower right. A short curved stroke and a small dash sit in the lower left. Over everything run thin white lines and loose pencil scribbles, mostly on the right, like quick scratches across the surface. The greige ground has the look of woven canvas with pale brush marks.
Why you'll love it
- Full of energy. Fast strokes and scratches give it movement.
- Neutral palette. Black, gray and greige suit most rooms.
- Detail up close. Fine lines reward a second look.
- Made to order. Printed after you buy, colour-managed, never warehoused.
Sizes and materials
- Paper — archival matte, rolled and unframed. Thirteen sizes in all: 8" x 12" through 30" x 40", plus A4–A1.
- Matte canvas — stretched on a wooden bar, no glare, ready to hang. 12" x 16" to 30" x 40".
- Framed canvas — solid wood floating frame in white, black, espresso or natural. 12" x 16" to 30" x 40".
- Pigment-based archival inks, rated to resist fading for decades indoors.
Styling it at home
Put it in a living room, studio or office that can take a lively piece. It works with gray and cream furniture, black metal and plants. A black frame tightens it; natural or white opens it up. It pairs well with the black bold strokes and dot print from the range, which is calmer.
Shipping and care
Unframed prints ship rolled in a protective tube. Framed canvas arrives ready to hang. Keep prints out of direct sunlight to protect the colour, and dust canvas with a dry, soft cloth.
Questions people ask
Is there any text or signature? No — the pencil marks are loose scribbles that are part of the artwork, not words.
Does the surface feel like canvas? No. The woven look is printed; paper and canvas options are both smooth to the touch.
Print & materials
Every design is made to order on one of three materials:
- Fine art paper — thick archival gallery-grade paper with a smooth matte finish, printed with fade-resistant pigment inks. The choice if you already own a frame.
- Matte canvas — gallery-wrapped over a solid wood stretcher, ready to hang straight out of the box. No glass, no glare.
- Framed canvas in white, black, espresso or natural wood — a slim solid-wood floating frame with the hanging hardware already fitted. Natural and espresso suit warm, timber-heavy rooms; white and black sit better in minimalist and monochrome spaces.
Sizes run from 8 x 12 inches up to large statement pieces, plus A4, A3, A2 and A1 for standard European frames. The exact sizes available for this design are listed in the Size menu above.

Materials
Three ways to print it.
Same artwork, same colour-managed printing — the material decides how it hangs and how much wall it holds.
Fine art paper
Thick archival gallery-grade paper with a smooth matte finish, printed with fade-resistant pigment inks.
- The most affordable option, and the one to pick if you already own a frame.
- Reads slightly softer than canvas.
- Ships rolled in a rigid tube.
Matte canvas
Gallery-wrapped over a solid wood stretcher, ready to hang straight out of the box.
- No glass, so no glare — good for bright rooms.
- Holds a touch more contrast than paper.
- Boxed with corner guards.
Framed canvas
A slim solid-wood floating frame with the hanging hardware already fitted, in white, black, espresso or natural wood.
- Natural and espresso suit warm, timber-heavy rooms.
- White and black sit better in minimalist and monochrome spaces.
- The usual choice for a feature wall — nothing to assemble.
