A brushstroke wall art print of heavy black shapes over warm cream, with a single round dot left alone in the open space below.
About the artwork
A large black shape runs diagonally from the upper left toward the middle right, and a thick horizontal bar cuts straight across it. Some edges are sharp and clean, while others end in dry, feathery brush tips; one sweeping stroke curves down to the right. The lower left is mostly empty, holding only a round black dot and a short dash. The cream ground has the look of woven linen with faint crossing brush marks.
Why you'll love it
- One small detail. The lone dot gives the eye somewhere to rest.
- Crisp meets loose. Sharp edges and dry brush tips in the same image.
- Warm cream, not white. Softer on painted walls.
- Made to order. Printed after you buy, colour-managed, never warehoused.
Sizes and materials
- Paper — archival matte, rolled and unframed. Thirteen sizes in all: 8" x 12" through 30" x 40", plus A4–A1.
- Matte canvas — stretched on a wooden bar, no glare, ready to hang. 12" x 16" to 30" x 40".
- Framed canvas — solid wood floating frame in white, black, espresso or natural. 12" x 16" to 30" x 40".
- Pigment-based archival inks, rated to resist fading for decades indoors.
Styling it at home
Good over a sofa, a bed or a desk in a room with cream walls, oak and black accents. The linen look suits boucle, jute and ceramics. Choose natural wood for warmth or black to echo the shapes. It sits well next to a black gloss crossbeam stroke print from the range for a bolder pair.
Shipping and care
Unframed prints ship rolled in a protective tube. Framed canvas arrives ready to hang. Keep prints out of direct sunlight to protect the colour, and dust canvas with a dry, soft cloth.
Questions people ask
Is the linen texture real? No. The weave is part of the printed image; the surface is flat.
Is there any writing? No — only black shapes, a dot and a short dash.
Print & materials
Every design is made to order on one of three materials:
- Fine art paper — thick archival gallery-grade paper with a smooth matte finish, printed with fade-resistant pigment inks. The choice if you already own a frame.
- Matte canvas — gallery-wrapped over a solid wood stretcher, ready to hang straight out of the box. No glass, no glare.
- Framed canvas in white, black, espresso or natural wood — a slim solid-wood floating frame with the hanging hardware already fitted. Natural and espresso suit warm, timber-heavy rooms; white and black sit better in minimalist and monochrome spaces.
Sizes run from 8 x 12 inches up to large statement pieces, plus A4, A3, A2 and A1 for standard European frames. The exact sizes available for this design are listed in the Size menu above.

Materials
Three ways to print it.
Same artwork, same colour-managed printing — the material decides how it hangs and how much wall it holds.
Fine art paper
Thick archival gallery-grade paper with a smooth matte finish, printed with fade-resistant pigment inks.
- The most affordable option, and the one to pick if you already own a frame.
- Reads slightly softer than canvas.
- Ships rolled in a rigid tube.
Matte canvas
Gallery-wrapped over a solid wood stretcher, ready to hang straight out of the box.
- No glass, so no glare — good for bright rooms.
- Holds a touch more contrast than paper.
- Boxed with corner guards.
Framed canvas
A slim solid-wood floating frame with the hanging hardware already fitted, in white, black, espresso or natural wood.
- Natural and espresso suit warm, timber-heavy rooms.
- White and black sit better in minimalist and monochrome spaces.
- The usual choice for a feature wall — nothing to assemble.
