This Bisbee watercolor print shows pastel hillside houses and long concrete staircases climbing the steep walls of Tombstone Canyon above Main Street. It is a watercolor-style interpretation of the town, not an exact view.
About the artwork
Fine ink lines outline each house, railing, staircase and brick facade, and autumn trees are dabbed in red and orange. The Mule Mountains rise behind in rust-brown layers with violet shadows, and the left edge runs into long orange-red drips above a soft blue, orange and pink wash at the bottom. The view looks up the canyon from above Main Street, with the painted houses filling the upper left and center and zigzag stairways linking them. A three-story red-brick building with a copper-roofed corner tower frames the right side, and the sloping, curving Main Street with its brick storefronts fills the foreground. The cool, clear light and turning leaves place the scene in late autumn. "BISBEE" is set in spaced navy capitals across the top.
Why you'll love it
- Turquoise pickup truck. A vintage turquoise pickup on Main Street picks up the same teal as the painted wooden houses.
- Striped shop awnings. Blue and yellow striped awnings and walkers on the stairs give the street a lived-in feel.
- Cat on the wall. A small cat sitting on a stone wall in the lower left is a detail people enjoy finding.
- Made to order. Printed after you buy, colour-managed, never warehoused.
Sizes and materials
- Paper — archival matte, rolled and unframed. Thirteen sizes in all: 8" x 12" through 30" x 40", plus A4–A1.
- Matte canvas — stretched on a wooden bar, no glare, ready to hang. 12" x 16" to 30" x 40".
- Framed canvas — solid wood floating frame in white, black, espresso or natural. 12" x 16" to 30" x 40".
- Pigment-based archival inks, rated to resist fading for decades indoors.
Styling it at home
Brick red, rust and turquoise make it a natural fit for an entryway, reading nook or eclectic living room with warm, earthy colors. Give it to someone who spent weekends wandering Bisbee's stairs, or as a housewarming gift for an Arizona home.
Shipping and care
Unframed prints ship rolled in a protective tube. Framed canvas arrives ready to hang. Keep prints out of direct sunlight to protect the colour, and dust canvas with a dry, soft cloth.
Questions people ask
Is this an exact view of Bisbee? No. It is an artistic interpretation of Bisbee's hillside, and some buildings are simplified or rearranged to fit the scene.
What text is printed on it? Only the name "BISBEE," set in spaced navy capitals across the top. There is no other lettering on the print.
Print & materials
Every design is made to order on one of three materials:
- Fine art paper — thick 200 gsm archival gallery-grade paper with a smooth matte finish, printed with fade-resistant pigment inks. The choice if you already own a frame.
- Matte canvas — gallery-wrapped over a solid wood stretcher, ready to hang straight out of the box. No glass, no glare.
- Framed canvas in white, black, espresso or natural wood — a slim solid-wood floating frame with the hanging hardware already fitted. Natural and espresso suit warm, timber-heavy rooms; white and black sit better in minimalist and monochrome spaces.
Sizes run from 8 x 12 inches up to large statement pieces, plus A4, A3, A2 and A1 for standard European frames. The exact sizes available for this design are listed in the Size menu above.
Paper weight, inks, frame details and care are all in our Material Guide.

Materials
Three ways to print it.
Same artwork, same colour-managed printing — the material decides how it hangs and how much wall it holds.
Fine art paper
Thick 200 gsm archival gallery-grade paper with a smooth matte finish, printed with fade-resistant pigment inks.
- The most affordable option, and the one to pick if you already own a frame.
- Reads slightly softer than canvas.
- Ships rolled in a rigid tube.
Matte canvas
Gallery-wrapped over a solid wood stretcher, ready to hang straight out of the box.
- No glass, so no glare — good for bright rooms.
- Holds a touch more contrast than paper.
- Boxed with corner guards.
Framed canvas
A slim solid-wood floating frame with the hanging hardware already fitted, in white, black, espresso or natural wood.
- Natural and espresso suit warm, timber-heavy rooms.
- White and black sit better in minimalist and monochrome spaces.
- The usual choice for a feature wall — nothing to assemble.
