This Big Ben watercolor print shows the Elizabeth Tower and the Palace of Westminster across the River Thames in London. It is an artistic, watercolor-style interpretation of Westminster, not an exact view.
About the artwork
Fine brown ink picks out the Gothic pinnacles and windows in detail, over light honey-gold washes. The Thames is swept in horizontal blue strokes with golden reflections, trees are dabbed in yellow and orange, and drips fall from the lower left. Honey-gold stone, blue-grey river and amber leaves set the palette, with a red double-decker bus as an accent. Big Ben stands on the right, the palace stretches across to Victoria Tower on the left, Westminster Bridge crosses the river, and a South Bank walkway with old lamp posts leads in from the left. Plane trees turning amber place it in early autumn. "LONDON" is set in spaced navy capitals across the top.
Why you'll love it
- Detailed Gothic linework. Thin ink lines capture the spires and windows of Parliament.
- Red bus accent. A double-decker on the bridge adds a classic London touch.
- Riverside walk view. Old lamp posts and the stone river wall lead the eye to the tower.
- Made to order. Printed after you buy, colour-managed, never warehoused.

Styling it at home
Honey gold, river blue and amber suit a living room, study or hallway with navy, cream or brass. It is a good gift for an Anglophile, a student who studied in London or a couple remembering a UK trip. Pair it with our London watercolor print for a two-piece set.
Shipping and care
Unframed prints ship rolled in a protective tube. Framed canvas arrives ready to hang. Keep prints out of direct sunlight to protect the colour, and dust canvas with a dry, soft cloth.
Questions people ask
Is this an exact view of Big Ben? No. It is an artistic interpretation of Big Ben and Westminster. Some elements, like the position of Westminster Bridge, are rearranged.
What text is printed on it? Only the city name, "LONDON," set in spaced navy capitals across the top. There is no other lettering on the print.
Print & materials
Every design is made to order on one of three materials:
- Fine art paper — thick 200 gsm archival gallery-grade paper with a smooth matte finish, printed with fade-resistant pigment inks. The choice if you already own a frame.
- Matte canvas — gallery-wrapped over a solid wood stretcher, ready to hang straight out of the box. No glass, no glare.
- Framed canvas in white, black, espresso or natural wood — a slim solid-wood floating frame with the hanging hardware already fitted. Natural and espresso suit warm, timber-heavy rooms; white and black sit better in minimalist and monochrome spaces.
Sizes run from 8 x 12 inches up to large statement pieces, plus A4, A3, A2 and A1 for standard European frames. The exact sizes available for this design are listed in the Size menu above.

Materials
Three ways to print it.
Same artwork, same colour-managed printing — the material decides how it hangs and how much wall it holds.
Fine art paper
Thick 200 gsm archival gallery-grade paper with a smooth matte finish, printed with fade-resistant pigment inks.
- The most affordable option, and the one to pick if you already own a frame.
- Reads slightly softer than canvas.
- Ships rolled in a rigid tube.
Matte canvas
Gallery-wrapped over a solid wood stretcher, ready to hang straight out of the box.
- No glass, so no glare — good for bright rooms.
- Holds a touch more contrast than paper.
- Boxed with corner guards.
Framed canvas
A slim solid-wood floating frame with the hanging hardware already fitted, in white, black, espresso or natural wood.
- Natural and espresso suit warm, timber-heavy rooms.
- White and black sit better in minimalist and monochrome spaces.
- The usual choice for a feature wall — nothing to assemble.
