This Bend, Oregon watercolor print shows the three silver smokestacks of the Old Mill District beside the Deschutes River, with snowy Mount Bachelor in the distance. It is an artistic, watercolor-style interpretation of Bend, Oregon, not an exact view of the city.
About the artwork
The stacks are washed pale gray with fine ink lines and guy wires, and the river is clear blue holding their long vertical reflections. Shrubs and pines are dabbed in green and yellow, with blue and yellow drips along both lower edges. The palette is river blue, pine and sagebrush green and smokestack silver, with brick red, a red shed and orange and yellow kayaks as accents. The red-brick powerhouse and its tall stacks sit right of center and reach into the upper part, seen from the riverbank, with a long wooden footbridge and restored timber buildings on the left, Mount Bachelor and other snowy peaks behind, and a railed river path under ponderosa pines in front. It is a bright midsummer day on the river. "BEND" is set in spaced navy capitals across the top.
Why you'll love it
- Floating the river. A tuber drifts by on an inner tube next to a paddleboarder.
- Red and yellow kayaks. Two bright kayaks add warm color to the blue water.
- Riverside path. Cyclists and a dog walker share the trail along the bank.
- Made to order. Printed after you buy, colour-managed, never warehoused.
Sizes and materials
- Paper — archival matte, rolled and unframed. Thirteen sizes in all: 8" x 12" through 30" x 40", plus A4–A1.
- Matte canvas — stretched on a wooden bar, no glare, ready to hang. 12" x 16" to 30" x 40".

- Pigment-based archival inks, rated to resist fading for decades indoors.
Styling it at home
Its river blues and pine greens suit a modern-rustic living room, a basement den or an office with gray walls. It is a fun gift for a river floater, a new Bend resident or anyone who loves Central Oregon summers.
Shipping and care
Unframed prints ship rolled in a protective tube. Framed canvas arrives ready to hang. Keep prints out of direct sunlight to protect the colour, and dust canvas with a dry, soft cloth.
Questions people ask
Is this an exact view of Bend, Oregon? No. It is an artistic interpretation of Bend, Oregon, designed to put the river, the stacks and the mountain in one frame.
What text is printed on it? Only the city name, "BEND," set in spaced navy capitals across the top. There is no other lettering on the print.
Print & materials
Every design is made to order on one of three materials:
- Fine art paper — thick 200 gsm archival gallery-grade paper with a smooth matte finish, printed with fade-resistant pigment inks. The choice if you already own a frame.
- Matte canvas — gallery-wrapped over a solid wood stretcher, ready to hang straight out of the box. No glass, no glare.
- Framed canvas in white, black, espresso or natural wood — a slim solid-wood floating frame with the hanging hardware already fitted. Natural and espresso suit warm, timber-heavy rooms; white and black sit better in minimalist and monochrome spaces.
Sizes run from 8 x 12 inches up to large statement pieces, plus A4, A3, A2 and A1 for standard European frames. The exact sizes available for this design are listed in the Size menu above.

- Ships rolled in a rigid tube.
Matte canvas
Gallery-wrapped over a solid wood stretcher, ready to hang straight out of the box.

- Boxed with corner guards.
Framed canvas
A slim solid-wood floating frame with the hanging hardware already fitted, in white, black, espresso or natural wood.
- Natural and espresso suit warm, timber-heavy rooms.
