This Auburn, Alabama watercolor print shows Samford Hall and its clock tower across Samford Park, seen from the lawn near Toomer's Corner. It is a watercolor-style interpretation of the Alabama college town, not an exact view.
About the artwork
Clear washes layer the tree canopy, and fine brown ink outlines the clock tower, pointed roofs, brick gate posts, iron fence and shopfronts. Samford Hall stands on the middle right in red brick with a navy-roofed clock tower, the brick gate and iron fence sit in the center, and the low brick shops of College Street with parked cars line the left. Brick paths and beds of pink azaleas fill the foreground, and a church steeple shows in the distance. Leafy green leads the palette with brick red, azalea pink and navy. The edges melt into pink, blue and violet drips and splatter. "AUBURN" is set in spaced navy capitals across the top.
Why you'll love it
- Azalea season. Pink azaleas bloom in wet, blended dots across the foreground beds.
- Campus gate corner. Brick gate posts and an iron fence mark the edge of campus at Toomer's Corner.
- Downtown edge. The low storefronts of College Street add a small-town street scene beside the campus.
- Made to order. Printed after you buy, colour-managed, never warehoused.

Styling it at home
Green, brick red and azalea pink fit a family room, a guest bedroom or a home office with white trim. It suits a graduation, a new-student send-off or an alum who misses springtime in Auburn.
Shipping and care
Unframed prints ship rolled in a protective tube. Framed canvas arrives ready to hang. Keep prints out of direct sunlight to protect the colour, and dust canvas with a dry, soft cloth.
Questions people ask
Is this an exact view of Auburn, Alabama? No. It is an artistic interpretation of Samford Hall and Toomer's Corner. Some details, such as the hall's roofline and a statue in the park, are simplified or added for the composition.
What text is printed on it? Only the name "AUBURN," set in spaced navy capitals across the top. There is no other lettering on the print.
Print & materials
Every design is made to order on one of three materials:
- Fine art paper — thick 200 gsm archival gallery-grade paper with a smooth matte finish, printed with fade-resistant pigment inks. The choice if you already own a frame.
- Matte canvas — gallery-wrapped over a solid wood stretcher, ready to hang straight out of the box. No glass, no glare.
- Framed canvas in white, black, espresso or natural wood — a slim solid-wood floating frame with the hanging hardware already fitted. Natural and espresso suit warm, timber-heavy rooms; white and black sit better in minimalist and monochrome spaces.
Sizes run from 8 x 12 inches up to large statement pieces, plus A4, A3, A2 and A1 for standard European frames. The exact sizes available for this design are listed in the Size menu above.
