This Amsterdam flower market wall art print stacks tall townhouses above a bright spill of orange and yellow tulips. It is a stylized, imaginative take on Amsterdam, an artistic interpretation inspired by the city rather than a literal view of its streets.
About the artwork
It is a digital illustration in an opaque gouache style, with flat shapes and a visible vertical canvas texture. The palette runs from orange and yellow to deep blue, creamy white and teal. Steep-roofed townhouses with white windows line the top half, with a golden autumn tree, a green dome on the left and tiny figures under the awnings. The lower half is packed with tulips and small white blooms. "FLOWER MARKET" sits across the top in orange, and "Amsterdam" is written by hand below in blue.
Why you'll love it
- Tulips up front. Orange and yellow tulips fill the whole lower half of the scene.
- Small details. Tiny figures under the awnings reward a closer look.
- Canvas texture. A vertical canvas grain gives the flat color a tactile, painterly feel.
- Made to order. Printed after you buy, colour-managed, never warehoused.
Sizes and materials
- Paper — archival matte, rolled and unframed. Thirteen sizes in all: 8" x 12" through 30" x 40", plus A4–A1.
- Matte canvas — stretched on a wooden bar, no glare, ready to hang. 12" x 16" to 30" x 40".
- Framed canvas — solid wood floating frame in white, black, espresso or natural. 12" x 16" to 30" x 40".
- Pigment-based archival inks, rated to resist fading for decades indoors.
Styling it at home
Hang it in a living room or entryway with warm wood, white walls and touches of navy. It makes a cheerful housewarming gift for anyone who has lived in or visited Amsterdam.
Shipping and care
Unframed prints ship rolled in a protective tube. Framed canvas arrives ready to hang. Keep prints out of direct sunlight to protect the colour, and dust canvas with a dry, soft cloth.
Questions people ask
Is this an exact view of Amsterdam? No. It is a stylized, artistic interpretation: Dutch-style townhouses, a green dome and rows of tulips arranged into a poster scene, not a real street view.
What text is printed on it? The top reads "FLOWER MARKET." Below the scene you'll see "CITIES & FLOWERS COLLECTION" and "NO.069," with "Amsterdam" written in handwritten script at the bottom.
Print & materials
Every design is made to order on one of three materials:
- Fine art paper — thick 200 gsm archival gallery-grade paper with a smooth matte finish, printed with fade-resistant pigment inks. The choice if you already own a frame.
- Matte canvas — gallery-wrapped over a solid wood stretcher, ready to hang straight out of the box. No glass, no glare.
- Framed canvas in white, black, espresso or natural wood — a slim solid-wood floating frame with the hanging hardware already fitted. Natural and espresso suit warm, timber-heavy rooms; white and black sit better in minimalist and monochrome spaces.
Sizes run from 8 x 12 inches up to large statement pieces, plus A4, A3, A2 and A1 for standard European frames. The exact sizes available for this design are listed in the Size menu above.
Paper weight, inks, frame details and care are all in our Material Guide.

Materials
Three ways to print it.
Same artwork, same colour-managed printing — the material decides how it hangs and how much wall it holds.
Fine art paper
Thick 200 gsm archival gallery-grade paper with a smooth matte finish, printed with fade-resistant pigment inks.
- The most affordable option, and the one to pick if you already own a frame.
- Reads slightly softer than canvas.
- Ships rolled in a rigid tube.
Matte canvas
Gallery-wrapped over a solid wood stretcher, ready to hang straight out of the box.
- No glass, so no glare — good for bright rooms.
- Holds a touch more contrast than paper.
- Boxed with corner guards.
Framed canvas
A slim solid-wood floating frame with the hanging hardware already fitted, in white, black, espresso or natural wood.
- Natural and espresso suit warm, timber-heavy rooms.
- White and black sit better in minimalist and monochrome spaces.
- The usual choice for a feature wall — nothing to assemble.
