A gray and black amore brush poster: the word AMORE repeated five times in pale gray paint, with a bold black Amore slanting across the center.
About the artwork
The gray rows form a quiet background, like an echo of the word. Over them, one black Amore leans to the right and cuts through the middle of the sheet. The paint is thick, with visible streaks running through each stroke, so the letters feel wet and physical. Layering a heavy black word over pale repeats gives the poster depth without any other elements. Your eye lands on the black word first and then drifts up and down the gray rows.
Why you'll love it
- Soft and strong together. Pale gray gives calm, while the black word gives a clear focal point.
- A romantic word, quietly said. It reads warm without any hearts or flowers.
- Sits well in sets. Its layout matches a companion print, so you can hang two side by side.
- Made to order. Printed after you buy, colour-managed, never warehoused.
Sizes and materials
- Paper — archival matte, rolled and unframed. Thirteen sizes in all: 8" x 12" through 30" x 40", plus A4–A1.
- Matte canvas — stretched on a wooden bar, no glare, ready to hang. 12" x 16" to 30" x 40".
- Framed canvas — solid wood floating frame in white, black, espresso or natural. 12" x 16" to 30" x 40".
- Pigment-based archival inks, rated to resist fading for decades indoors.
Styling it at home
Hang it above a bed, a dresser or a bathroom vanity, where a gentle romantic note fits. A white frame keeps the gray airy, and a black frame strengthens the central word. Pair it with the similar brush repeat print in another word for a matched set.
Shipping and care
Unframed prints ship rolled in a protective tube. Framed canvas arrives ready to hang. Keep prints out of direct sunlight to protect the colour, and dust canvas with a dry, soft cloth.
Questions people ask
Does the word repeat? Yes, it appears five times in gray and once in black across the middle.
Is the paint texture real? The streaks are part of the printed artwork, so the surface stays smooth.
Print & materials
Every design is made to order on one of three materials:
- Fine art paper — thick archival gallery-grade paper with a smooth matte finish, printed with fade-resistant pigment inks. The choice if you already own a frame.
- Matte canvas — gallery-wrapped over a solid wood stretcher, ready to hang straight out of the box. No glass, no glare.
- Framed canvas in white, black, espresso or natural wood — a slim solid-wood floating frame with the hanging hardware already fitted. Natural and espresso suit warm, timber-heavy rooms; white and black sit better in minimalist and monochrome spaces.
Sizes run from 8 x 12 inches up to large statement pieces, plus A4, A3, A2 and A1 for standard European frames. The exact sizes available for this design are listed in the Size menu above.

Three ways to print it.
Same artwork, same colour-managed printing — the material decides how it hangs and how much wall it holds.
Fine art paper
Thick archival gallery-grade paper with a smooth matte finish, printed with fade-resistant pigment inks.
- The most affordable option, and the one to pick if you already own a frame.
- Reads slightly softer than canvas.
- Ships rolled in a rigid tube.
Matte canvas
Gallery-wrapped over a solid wood stretcher, ready to hang straight out of the box.
- No glass, so no glare — good for bright rooms.
- Holds a touch more contrast than paper.
- Boxed with corner guards.
Framed canvas
A slim solid-wood floating frame with the hanging hardware already fitted, in white, black, espresso or natural wood.
- Natural and espresso suit warm, timber-heavy rooms.
- White and black sit better in minimalist and monochrome spaces.
- The usual choice for a feature wall — nothing to assemble.
