This Alberobello watercolor print looks up a sloping stone lane between rows of cone-roofed trulli in Rione Monti, toward the trullo-style Church of Sant'Antonio on the hilltop. It is an artistic, watercolor-style interpretation of Alberobello, not an exact view of the city.
About the artwork
Whitewashed walls are left almost as bare paper, and every slate layer of the conical roofs is drawn in fine ink. An old olive tree with a twisted trunk is painted in browns, the left edge bleeds almond-blossom pink with many drips, and the right edge washes into blue. Lime white and stone gray lead the palette with silvery olive green, and pink almond blossom and red geraniums in terracotta pots add the accents. The lane climbs through the center between the trulli with their white pinnacles, the church sits at the top, and an olive tree and a dry-stone wall anchor the left foreground. Hills of olives and cypresses fade behind in early spring. "ALBEROBELLO" is set in spaced navy capitals across the top.
Why you'll love it
- Cat on the step. A tabby cat sits on a doorstep beside pots of red geraniums.
- Village life. A woman in a blue dress and straw hat carries a basket up the lane.
- Almond blossom. A flowering almond tree adds soft pink to the white and gray street.
- Made to order. Printed after you buy, colour-managed, never warehoused.
Sizes and materials
- Paper — archival matte, rolled and unframed. Thirteen sizes in all: 8" x 12" through 30" x 40", plus A4–A1.
- Matte canvas — stretched on a wooden bar, no glare, ready to hang. 12" x 16" to 30" x 40".
- Framed canvas — solid wood floating frame in white, black, espresso or natural. 12" x 16" to 30" x 40".
- Pigment-based archival inks, rated to resist fading for decades indoors.
Styling it at home
White, gray and soft pink fit a farmhouse kitchen, a bright bedroom or a nursery with gentle tones. It is a sweet gift for a cat lover or anyone who has wandered the villages of Puglia.
Shipping and care
Unframed prints ship rolled in a protective tube. Framed canvas arrives ready to hang. Keep prints out of direct sunlight to protect the colour, and dust canvas with a dry, soft cloth.
Questions people ask
Is this an exact view of Alberobello? No. It is an artistic interpretation of Alberobello, seen from inside a lane of trulli rather than from a lookout over the town.
What text is printed on it? Only the city name, "ALBEROBELLO," set in spaced navy capitals across the top. There is no other lettering on the print.
Print & materials
Every design is made to order on one of three materials:
- Fine art paper — thick 200 gsm archival gallery-grade paper with a smooth matte finish, printed with fade-resistant pigment inks. The choice if you already own a frame.
- Matte canvas — gallery-wrapped over a solid wood stretcher, ready to hang straight out of the box. No glass, no glare.
- Framed canvas in white, black, espresso or natural wood — a slim solid-wood floating frame with the hanging hardware already fitted. Natural and espresso suit warm, timber-heavy rooms; white and black sit better in minimalist and monochrome spaces.
Sizes run from 8 x 12 inches up to large statement pieces, plus A4, A3, A2 and A1 for standard European frames. The exact sizes available for this design are listed in the Size menu above.

Materials
Three ways to print it.
Same artwork, same colour-managed printing — the material decides how it hangs and how much wall it holds.
Fine art paper
Thick 200 gsm archival gallery-grade paper with a smooth matte finish, printed with fade-resistant pigment inks.
- The most affordable option, and the one to pick if you already own a frame.
- Reads slightly softer than canvas.
- Ships rolled in a rigid tube.
Matte canvas
Gallery-wrapped over a solid wood stretcher, ready to hang straight out of the box.
- No glass, so no glare — good for bright rooms.
- Holds a touch more contrast than paper.
- Boxed with corner guards.
Framed canvas
A slim solid-wood floating frame with the hanging hardware already fitted, in white, black, espresso or natural wood.
- Natural and espresso suit warm, timber-heavy rooms.
- White and black sit better in minimalist and monochrome spaces.
- The usual choice for a feature wall — nothing to assemble.
