An airplane between skyscrapers poster: a black and white photograph looking straight up as a plane crosses the sky between tall city buildings.
About the artwork
Four towers rise from the four corners and lean in toward each other, forming a sharp X. The plane sits exactly at the center of that X, seen from its belly as a dark silhouette. The buildings are packed with windows and small air conditioning units, which gives the frame a dense, busy texture. In contrast, the narrow strip of sky is pale and flat. The near-perfect symmetry makes it read almost like a geometric pattern.
Why you'll love it
- Graphic and modern. Strong lines suit clean, contemporary rooms.
- Great for frequent flyers. A smart nod to travel without naming a single destination.
- A conversation starter. Guests usually stop to figure out the angle.
- Made to order. Printed after you buy, colour-managed, never warehoused.
Sizes and materials
- Paper — archival matte, rolled and unframed. Thirteen sizes in all: 8" x 12" through 30" x 40", plus A4–A1.
- Matte canvas — stretched on a wooden bar, no glare, ready to hang. 12" x 16" to 30" x 40".
- Framed canvas — solid wood floating frame in white, black, espresso or natural. 12" x 16" to 30" x 40".
- Pigment-based archival inks, rated to resist fading for decades indoors.
Styling it at home
Try it in a home office, a loft living room or a hallway with industrial touches. A black frame matches the plane silhouette, and a natural wood frame softens the concrete feel. It works well with other low-angle city photos in a grid.
Shipping and care
Unframed prints ship rolled in a protective tube. Framed canvas arrives ready to hang. Keep prints out of direct sunlight to protect the colour, and dust canvas with a dry, soft cloth.
Questions people ask
Which city is this? The location is not identified; it shows generic apartment towers seen from below.
Is the plane centered? Yes, it sits right where the four buildings meet in the middle of the frame.
Print & materials
Every design is made to order on one of three materials:
- Fine art paper — thick archival gallery-grade paper with a smooth matte finish, printed with fade-resistant pigment inks. The choice if you already own a frame.
- Matte canvas — gallery-wrapped over a solid wood stretcher, ready to hang straight out of the box. No glass, no glare.
- Framed canvas in white, black, espresso or natural wood — a slim solid-wood floating frame with the hanging hardware already fitted. Natural and espresso suit warm, timber-heavy rooms; white and black sit better in minimalist and monochrome spaces.
Sizes run from 8 x 12 inches up to large statement pieces, plus A4, A3, A2 and A1 for standard European frames. The exact sizes available for this design are listed in the Size menu above.

Three ways to print it.
Same artwork, same colour-managed printing — the material decides how it hangs and how much wall it holds.

Thick archival gallery-grade paper with a smooth matte finish, printed with fade-resistant pigment inks.

- Reads slightly softer than canvas.

Matte canvas
Gallery-wrapped over a solid wood stretcher, ready to hang straight out of the box.
- No glass, so no glare — good for bright rooms.

- Boxed with corner guards.
Framed canvas
A slim solid-wood floating frame with the hanging hardware already fitted, in white, black, espresso or natural wood.
- Natural and espresso suit warm, timber-heavy rooms.
- White and black sit better in minimalist and monochrome spaces.
