Parc national de Kings Canyon

What's in the collection

Kings Canyon National Park lies in the Sierra Nevada of California, and every print here keeps to what the park shows: granite walls rising above wildflower meadows, giant sequoias standing in a deep canyon, and turquoise water threading between pines. Named scenes appear in the set, the South Fork Kings River running the granite valley at Cedar Grove, and the General Grant Tree drawn alone in saturated flat colour. The park belongs to our US national parks wall art range, and hangs naturally with the rest of our California wall art.

Ways to hang one park

The same canyon is handled across the range of styles: a vintage WPA travel poster, a bolder WPA art panel, a retro travel print, mid century modern wall art, a retro poster, a horizontal panorama, a classical oil painting, a thick impasto oil, and a watercolour. Granite grey, meadow green and river turquoise run through the whole set, so a flat vector hangs happily beside a loose watercolour. Choose what suits the room. The painted end of the series sits with our oil painting wall art, and the wall art size guide covers the sizes.

Sizes, paper and framing

Every design is offered on archival matte paper in nine sizes from 8" x 12" to 30" x 40", plus A4-A1 for European frames, and on matte canvas either stretched on a wooden bar or set in a solid wood floating frame in white, black, espresso or natural. Printed with pigment-based archival inks, rated to resist fading for decades indoors.
