A Kings Canyon National Park illustrated print in flat vector shapes: granite canyon walls seen between two great dark tree trunks, with mustard autumn trees and a thin bright river on the valley floor.
About the artwork
The trunks stand at both edges and a black branch crosses from the right, so the valley is seen through a frame inside the frame. The granite is a few large lit planes, a low cream cloud sits above the treeline, and the river cuts across the base. Few canyons in North America run deeper than Kings Canyon. The header sets KINGS CANYON in heavy capitals above NATIONAL PARK · CALIFORNIA · EST 1940.
Why you'll love it
- A frame within the frame. Two trunks open onto the valley.
- One grid, sixty-three parks. Every illustrated park print shares the same layout and header style, so any mix hangs as a matched set.
- Thirteen sizes. Start small at 8" x 12" or go up to 30" x 40"; A4 to A1 sizes are there too.
- Made to order. Printed after you buy, color-managed, never warehoused.
Sizes and materials
- Paper — archival matte, rolled and unframed. Thirteen sizes in all: 8" x 12" through 30" x 40", plus A4–A1.
- Matte canvas — stretched on a wooden bar, no glare, ready to hang. 12" x 16" to 30" x 40".
- Framed canvas — solid wood floating frame in white, black, espresso or natural. 12" x 16" to 30" x 40".
- Pigment-based archival inks, rated to resist fading for decades indoors.
Styling it at home
The trunks act like a built-in mat. Cream gold, mustard and teal pair with oak and linen; a white frame widens the opening.
Shipping and care
Unframed prints ship rolled in a protective tube. Framed canvas arrives ready to hang. Keep prints out of direct sunlight to protect the color, and dust canvas with a dry, soft cloth.
Questions people ask
What size should I choose? 12" x 18" works in a gallery wall of several parks; 18" x 24" and up stands on its own, and 30" x 40" fills a large wall.
Does it come framed? Paper prints ship unframed and fit standard frames. Choose a framed canvas if you would rather skip the framing shop.
How is this different from your other Kings Canyon prints? This is the illustrated version, in flat vector shapes with the shared series header: granite walls between two dark trunks. The vintage travel poster, WPA, screen print, retro, mid-century, panoramic, classical oil, impasto oil, watercolor and landmark Kings Canyon prints are separate designs.
Print & materials
Every design is made to order on one of three materials:
- Fine art paper — thick archival gallery-grade paper with a smooth matte finish, printed with fade-resistant pigment inks. The choice if you already own a frame.
- Matte canvas — gallery-wrapped over a solid wood stretcher, ready to hang straight out of the box. No glass, no glare.
- Framed canvas in white, black, espresso or natural wood — a slim solid-wood floating frame with the hanging hardware already fitted. Natural and espresso suit warm, timber-heavy rooms; white and black sit better in minimalist and monochrome spaces.
Sizes run from 8 x 12 inches up to large statement pieces, plus A4, A3, A2 and A1 for standard European frames. The exact sizes available for this design are listed in the Size menu above.

Materials
Three ways to print it.
Same artwork, same colour-managed printing — the material decides how it hangs and how much wall it holds.
Fine art paper
Thick archival gallery-grade paper with a smooth matte finish, printed with fade-resistant pigment inks.
- The most affordable option, and the one to pick if you already own a frame.
- Reads slightly softer than canvas.
- Ships rolled in a rigid tube.
Matte canvas
Gallery-wrapped over a solid wood stretcher, ready to hang straight out of the box.
- No glass, so no glare — good for bright rooms.
- Holds a touch more contrast than paper.
- Boxed with corner guards.
Framed canvas
A slim solid-wood floating frame with the hanging hardware already fitted, in white, black, espresso or natural wood.
- Natural and espresso suit warm, timber-heavy rooms.
- White and black sit better in minimalist and monochrome spaces.
- The usual choice for a feature wall — nothing to assemble.
