This Wormsloe Savannah watercolor print shows the long avenue of live oaks at Wormsloe Historic Site in Savannah, their limbs meeting overhead like a tunnel. It is an artistic, watercolor-style interpretation of the avenue, not an exact view.
About the artwork
Brown ink traces the rough oak trunks and arching branches, and long curtains of Spanish moss are left as grey-white paper strokes. The sandy road runs straight into the center in one-point perspective, toward a bright opening at the far end. A broad trunk anchors the left foreground, and low palmettos line both verges. Fallen oak leaves and dappled blue-violet shadows cover the pale road, setting the scene in mild late autumn. The palette stays with moss green, palmetto green, moss grey and sand, with small orange-brown accents. "SAVANNAH" is set in spaced navy capitals across the top.
Why you'll love it
- Tunnel of oaks. The arching canopy pulls the eye straight down the road toward the light.
- Couple out walking. A couple strolls together, she in a white dress and hat, while a cyclist rides far ahead.
- Soft Southern greens. Moss green and grey with sandy beige keep the mood calm and shaded.
- Made to order. Printed after you buy, colour-managed, never warehoused.
Sizes and materials
- Paper — archival matte, rolled and unframed. Thirteen sizes in all: 8" x 12" through 30" x 40", plus A4–A1.
- Matte canvas — stretched on a wooden bar, no glare, ready to hang. 12" x 16" to 30" x 40".
- Framed canvas — solid wood floating frame in white, black, espresso or natural. 12" x 16" to 30" x 40".
- Pigment-based archival inks, rated to resist fading for decades indoors.
Styling it at home
Hang it at the end of a hallway or above a bed, where the deep perspective draws the eye in; it suits sage, cream and wood-toned rooms. It's a lovely wedding or anniversary gift for a couple who married in Savannah, or a keepsake for anyone who has walked under those oaks. Pair it with our Savannah watercolor print for a two-piece set.
Shipping and care
Unframed prints ship rolled in a protective tube. Framed canvas arrives ready to hang. Keep prints out of direct sunlight to protect the colour, and dust canvas with a dry, soft cloth.
Questions people ask
Is this an exact view of Wormsloe Savannah? No. It is an artistic interpretation of the Wormsloe avenue, and the composition is simplified for the artwork.
What text is printed on it? Only the city name, "SAVANNAH," set in spaced navy capitals across the top. There is no other lettering on the print.
Print & materials
Every design is made to order on one of three materials:
- Fine art paper — thick 200 gsm archival gallery-grade paper with a smooth matte finish, printed with fade-resistant pigment inks. The choice if you already own a frame.
- Matte canvas — gallery-wrapped over a solid wood stretcher, ready to hang straight out of the box. No glass, no glare.
- Framed canvas in white, black, espresso or natural wood — a slim solid-wood floating frame with the hanging hardware already fitted. Natural and espresso suit warm, timber-heavy rooms; white and black sit better in minimalist and monochrome spaces.
Sizes run from 8 x 12 inches up to large statement pieces, plus A4, A3, A2 and A1 for standard European frames. The exact sizes available for this design are listed in the Size menu above.

Materials
Three ways to print it.
Same artwork, same colour-managed printing — the material decides how it hangs and how much wall it holds.
Fine art paper
Thick 200 gsm archival gallery-grade paper with a smooth matte finish, printed with fade-resistant pigment inks.
- The most affordable option, and the one to pick if you already own a frame.
- Reads slightly softer than canvas.
- Ships rolled in a rigid tube.
Matte canvas
Gallery-wrapped over a solid wood stretcher, ready to hang straight out of the box.
- No glass, so no glare — good for bright rooms.
- Holds a touch more contrast than paper.
- Boxed with corner guards.
Framed canvas
A slim solid-wood floating frame with the hanging hardware already fitted, in white, black, espresso or natural wood.
- Natural and espresso suit warm, timber-heavy rooms.
- White and black sit better in minimalist and monochrome spaces.
- The usual choice for a feature wall — nothing to assemble.
