About the artwork

Crimson on pink, one ink throughout. Five funnel-shaped flowers ride a single woody stem, the branch drawn thick and slightly crooked so the plant reads as a shrub rather than a cut stalk, and every bloom pushes its stamens out past the mouth of the funnel. A fern ornament fills the lower-left corner and the 1¢ denomination sits in a circle opposite.
