A coffee wall art print: a croissant balanced on the rim of a cup, drawn in red ink with WANNA GET COFFEE AND A CROISSANT curving around it in cobalt.
About the artwork
The croissant is not on a plate. It rests directly across the mouth of the cup, which is the detail the whole drawing turns on — there is no saucer anywhere. Curved parallel strokes describe the layers of the pastry, and a block of solid red covers one side of the cup and one side of the croissant to give them weight. The cup has an oversized, slightly lopsided heart-shaped handle. The lettering curves over the upper left and runs straight along the bottom, in an even cobalt marker rather than a brush.
Why you'll love it
- Balanced, not plated. One small decision that makes the drawing.
- A handle with a personality. Lopsided on purpose.
- An invitation, not a slogan. It reads like something said out loud.
- Made to order. Printed after you buy, colour-managed, never warehoused.
Sizes and materials
- Paper — archival matte, rolled and unframed. Thirteen sizes in all: 8" x 12" through 30" x 40", plus A4–A1.
- Matte canvas — stretched on a wooden bar, no glare, ready to hang. 12" x 16" to 30" x 40".
- Framed canvas — solid wood floating frame in white, black, espresso or natural. 12" x 16" to 30" x 40".
- Pigment-based archival inks, rated to resist fading for decades indoors.
Styling it at home
One object, centred, with type wrapped around it — this is an easy print to hang alone on a small wall. A breakfast corner, a coffee station or a bakery-leaning kitchen all suit it. Natural wood keeps the red warm; black frames bring the cobalt lettering forward and make it read as graphic.
Shipping and care
Unframed prints ship rolled in a protective tube. Framed canvas arrives ready to hang. Keep prints out of direct sunlight to protect the colour, and dust canvas with a dry, soft cloth.
Questions people ask
What does it say? WANNA GET COFFEE AND A CROISSANT, with FRIDAY NIGHT and STARTING AT 7 PM below.
Is there a saucer? No — the croissant balances straight on the rim of the cup.
Print & materials
Every design is made to order on one of three materials:
- Fine art paper — thick archival gallery-grade paper with a smooth matte finish, printed with fade-resistant pigment inks. The choice if you already own a frame.
- Matte canvas — gallery-wrapped over a solid wood stretcher, ready to hang straight out of the box. No glass, no glare.
- Framed canvas in white, black, espresso or natural wood — a slim solid-wood floating frame with the hanging hardware already fitted. Natural and espresso suit warm, timber-heavy rooms; white and black sit better in minimalist and monochrome spaces.
Sizes run from 8 x 12 inches up to large statement pieces, plus A4, A3, A2 and A1 for standard European frames. The exact sizes available for this design are listed in the Size menu above.

Materials
Three ways to print it.
Same artwork, same colour-managed printing — the material decides how it hangs and how much wall it holds.
Fine art paper
Thick archival gallery-grade paper with a smooth matte finish, printed with fade-resistant pigment inks.
- The most affordable option, and the one to pick if you already own a frame.
- Reads slightly softer than canvas.
- Ships rolled in a rigid tube.
Matte canvas
Gallery-wrapped over a solid wood stretcher, ready to hang straight out of the box.
- No glass, so no glare — good for bright rooms.
- Holds a touch more contrast than paper.
- Boxed with corner guards.
Framed canvas
A slim solid-wood floating frame with the hanging hardware already fitted, in white, black, espresso or natural wood.
- Natural and espresso suit warm, timber-heavy rooms.
- White and black sit better in minimalist and monochrome spaces.
- The usual choice for a feature wall — nothing to assemble.
