This Virgin Islands National Park watercolor print shows the white crescent of Trunk Bay and tiny Trunk Cay in clear turquoise water off St. John. It is an artistic, watercolor-style interpretation of the park in the U.S. Virgin Islands, not an exact view.
About the artwork
Clear turquoise and aquamarine washes fill the bay, with darker green patches marking the coral reef, and the beach left as bare white paper. The sand curves in from the right toward the center, and small, tree-topped Trunk Cay sits just offshore at center left. Green forested hills of St. John rise on the right, and pale violet islands fade across the channel under a sunny dry-season sky. The view looks down from a hillside overlook, framed by boulders, palms and deep pink bougainvillea. The palette is the brightest in the collection, with turquoise, sea blue, tropical green and sand white, and the left and lower edges dissolve into long pink and blue drips. "VIRGIN ISLANDS" is set in spaced navy capitals across the top.
Why you'll love it
- Snorkelers on the reef. Tiny swimmers and snorkelers float over the coral while a white catamaran rides at anchor.
- Bougainvillea foreground. Bursts of deep pink blossoms frame the overlook and warm up the cool water tones.
- Palm-lined beach. A row of coconut palms follows the curve of the sand.
- Made to order. Printed after you buy, colour-managed, never warehoused.
Sizes and materials
- Paper — archival matte, rolled and unframed. Thirteen sizes in all: 8" x 12" through 30" x 40", plus A4–A1.

- Pigment-based archival inks, rated to resist fading for decades indoors.
Styling it at home
The turquoise and sand tones brighten a coastal bedroom, a bathroom or a breezy living room with white and natural textures. It suits a honeymoon memory, a Caribbean cruise keepsake or a gift for someone who snorkeled Trunk Bay.
Shipping and care
Unframed prints ship rolled in a protective tube. Framed canvas arrives ready to hang. Keep prints out of direct sunlight to protect the colour, and dust canvas with a dry, soft cloth.
Questions people ask
Is this an exact view of Virgin Islands National Park? No. It is an artistic interpretation of the Trunk Bay overlook, with the beach, cay and hills simplified in watercolor and ink.
What text is printed on it? Only the name "VIRGIN ISLANDS," set in spaced navy capitals across the top. There is no other lettering on the print.
Print & materials
Every design is made to order on one of three materials:
- Fine art paper — thick 200 gsm archival gallery-grade paper with a smooth matte finish, printed with fade-resistant pigment inks. The choice if you already own a frame.
- Matte canvas — gallery-wrapped over a solid wood stretcher, ready to hang straight out of the box. No glass, no glare.
- Framed canvas in white, black, espresso or natural wood — a slim solid-wood floating frame with the hanging hardware already fitted. Natural and espresso suit warm, timber-heavy rooms; white and black sit better in minimalist and monochrome spaces.
Sizes run from 8 x 12 inches up to large statement pieces, plus A4, A3, A2 and A1 for standard European frames. The exact sizes available for this design are listed in the Size menu above.

Materials
Three ways to print it.
Same artwork, same colour-managed printing — the material decides how it hangs and how much wall it holds.

Thick 200 gsm archival gallery-grade paper with a smooth matte finish, printed with fade-resistant pigment inks.
- The most affordable option, and the one to pick if you already own a frame.
- Reads slightly softer than canvas.
- Ships rolled in a rigid tube.
Matte canvas
Gallery-wrapped over a solid wood stretcher, ready to hang straight out of the box.
- No glass, so no glare — good for bright rooms.
- Holds a touch more contrast than paper.
- Boxed with corner guards.
Framed canvas
A slim solid-wood floating frame with the hanging hardware already fitted, in white, black, espresso or natural wood.
- Natural and espresso suit warm, timber-heavy rooms.
- White and black sit better in minimalist and monochrome spaces.
- The usual choice for a feature wall — nothing to assemble.
