A twin cheetahs poster in minimalist vector line art, drawn in white outline and spots on a flat charcoal-black ground, with no text.
About the artwork
This is the reversed version of a white-background pair: everything that would be ink is now light. The cheetahs are built from clean white contours and solid round spots, so the bodies read as bright shapes floating on the dark sheet. There is no texture or shading behind them, which leaves the spots as the only detail. The result feels graphic and calm rather than busy. Hung by itself the black field becomes a bold block of colour on the wall.
Why you'll love it
- A dark statement piece. A full black sheet gives a plain wall an instant focal point.
- Easy to read from across the room. White line work on black stays crisp even in low evening light.
- Pairs with its light twin. Hang it next to the white-background version for a positive and negative set.
- Made to order. Printed after you buy, colour-managed, never warehoused.
Sizes and materials
- Paper — archival matte, rolled and unframed. Thirteen sizes in all: 8" x 12" through 30" x 40", plus A4–A1.
- Matte canvas — stretched on a wooden bar, no glare, ready to hang. 12" x 16" to 30" x 40".
- Framed canvas — solid wood floating frame in white, black, espresso or natural. 12" x 16" to 30" x 40".
- Pigment-based archival inks, rated to resist fading for decades indoors.
Styling it at home
Hang it above a dark sofa or a walnut media console in a moody living room, or over a bed with grey linen. A white frame gives a sharp gallery edge, while a black frame makes the sheet look deeper. Try it beside the white-background cheetah design for a mirrored pair.
Shipping and care
Unframed prints ship rolled in a protective tube. Framed canvas arrives ready to hang. Keep prints out of direct sunlight to protect the colour, and dust canvas with a dry, soft cloth.
Questions people ask
Is there any writing on it? No, the design is only the two cheetahs on a plain black background.
Is there a light-background version? Yes, the same cheetahs are also available with the colours swapped, dark on white, so the two can hang as a pair.
Print & materials
Every design is made to order on one of three materials:
- Fine art paper — thick archival gallery-grade paper with a smooth matte finish, printed with fade-resistant pigment inks. The choice if you already own a frame.
- Matte canvas — gallery-wrapped over a solid wood stretcher, ready to hang straight out of the box. No glass, no glare.
- Framed canvas in white, black, espresso or natural wood — a slim solid-wood floating frame with the hanging hardware already fitted. Natural and espresso suit warm, timber-heavy rooms; white and black sit better in minimalist and monochrome spaces.
Sizes run from 8 x 12 inches up to large statement pieces, plus A4, A3, A2 and A1 for standard European frames. The exact sizes available for this design are listed in the Size menu above.

Materials
Three ways to print it.
Same artwork, same colour-managed printing — the material decides how it hangs and how much wall it holds.
Fine art paper
Thick archival gallery-grade paper with a smooth matte finish, printed with fade-resistant pigment inks.
- The most affordable option, and the one to pick if you already own a frame.
- Reads slightly softer than canvas.
- Ships rolled in a rigid tube.
Matte canvas
Gallery-wrapped over a solid wood stretcher, ready to hang straight out of the box.
- No glass, so no glare — good for bright rooms.
- Holds a touch more contrast than paper.
- Boxed with corner guards.
Framed canvas
A slim solid-wood floating frame with the hanging hardware already fitted, in white, black, espresso or natural wood.
- Natural and espresso suit warm, timber-heavy rooms.
- White and black sit better in minimalist and monochrome spaces.
- The usual choice for a feature wall — nothing to assemble.
