This Tokyo flower market wall art print turns a busy city street pink under a canopy of cherry blossom. It is a stylized, imaginative take on Tokyo — an artistic interpretation inspired by the city, not a literal view of any real street.
About the artwork
A digital gouache-style illustration in flat, matte color with a mid-century graphic feel. Dense towers fill the upper half, a cherry blossom canopy spreads across the middle, and a small pedestrian street with ground-floor shops runs along the lower left. A large gerbera daisy anchors the lower right corner under a flat cream sky. "FLOWER MARKET" runs across the top in coral-pink serif capitals, with "Tokyo" handwritten in red-pink below.
Why you'll love it
- Mid-century style. Flat shapes and a limited palette give it a retro, graphic edge.
- All-pink mood. Pink, vermilion and navy feel bold yet romantic.
- Street-level charm. Tiny pedestrians and shopfronts make the city feel lived in.
- Made to order. Printed after you buy, colour-managed, never warehoused.
Sizes and materials
- Paper — archival matte, rolled and unframed. Thirteen sizes in all: 8" x 12" through 30" x 40", plus A4–A1.
- Matte canvas — stretched on a wooden bar, no glare, ready to hang. 12" x 16" to 30" x 40".
- Framed canvas — solid wood floating frame in white, black, espresso or natural. 12" x 16" to 30" x 40".
- Pigment-based archival inks, rated to resist fading for decades indoors.
Styling it at home
Great for a bedroom, entryway or creative workspace. Pair it with navy, blush and cream, or with black frames for contrast. A playful gift for a Japan lover or anyone who has spent cherry blossom season in Tokyo.
Shipping and care
Unframed prints ship rolled in a protective tube. Framed canvas arrives ready to hang. Keep prints out of direct sunlight to protect the colour, and dust canvas with a dry, soft cloth.
Questions people ask
Is this an exact view of Tokyo? No. It is a stylized, imaginative interpretation of Tokyo. You see dense towers, a cherry blossom canopy, a small shopping street and a big gerbera daisy; it is a mood piece, not a specific landmark or neighborhood.
What text is printed on it? It reads "FLOWER MARKET" at the top, then "CITIES & FLOWERS COLLECTION" and "NO.007" beneath the artwork, with "Tokyo" handwritten in script at the bottom.
Print & materials
Every design is made to order on one of three materials:
- Fine art paper — thick 200 gsm archival gallery-grade paper with a smooth matte finish, printed with fade-resistant pigment inks. The choice if you already own a frame.
- Matte canvas — gallery-wrapped over a solid wood stretcher, ready to hang straight out of the box. No glass, no glare.
- Framed canvas in white, black, espresso or natural wood — a slim solid-wood floating frame with the hanging hardware already fitted. Natural and espresso suit warm, timber-heavy rooms; white and black sit better in minimalist and monochrome spaces.
Sizes run from 8 x 12 inches up to large statement pieces, plus A4, A3, A2 and A1 for standard European frames. The exact sizes available for this design are listed in the Size menu above.
Paper weight, inks, frame details and care are all in our Material Guide.

Materials
Three ways to print it.
Same artwork, same colour-managed printing — the material decides how it hangs and how much wall it holds.
Fine art paper
Thick 200 gsm archival gallery-grade paper with a smooth matte finish, printed with fade-resistant pigment inks.
- The most affordable option, and the one to pick if you already own a frame.
- Reads slightly softer than canvas.
- Ships rolled in a rigid tube.
Matte canvas
Gallery-wrapped over a solid wood stretcher, ready to hang straight out of the box.
- No glass, so no glare — good for bright rooms.
- Holds a touch more contrast than paper.
- Boxed with corner guards.
Framed canvas
A slim solid-wood floating frame with the hanging hardware already fitted, in white, black, espresso or natural wood.
- Natural and espresso suit warm, timber-heavy rooms.
- White and black sit better in minimalist and monochrome spaces.
- The usual choice for a feature wall — nothing to assemble.
