A textured abstract wall art print of thick palette-knife paint that fades from deep teal at the top through mint and white to warm sand at the bottom, like a shoreline seen from above.
About the artwork
The whole sheet is covered in overlapping scales of paint laid in horizontal rows, each with a curled edge that casts its own shadow in the image. The colour change does the storytelling: dark water becomes a line of white foam and then beach. A single pointed crest of teal curls up at the top right, the only stroke that seems to rise off the surface, while a strip of pale flat blue runs along the very top like sky.
Why you'll love it
- Coastal without a cliché. No boats, no shells — just colour and texture.
- Bathroom-friendly palette. Teal and sand suit tiles and white towels.
- Looks textured, hangs flat. The depth is in the image, so it frames cleanly.
- Made to order. Printed after you buy, colour-managed, never warehoused.
Sizes and materials
- Paper — archival matte, rolled and unframed. Thirteen sizes in all: 8" x 12" through 30" x 40", plus A4–A1.
- Matte canvas — stretched on a wooden bar, no glare, ready to hang. 12" x 16" to 30" x 40".
- Framed canvas — solid wood floating frame in white, black, espresso or natural. 12" x 16" to 30" x 40".
- Pigment-based archival inks, rated to resist fading for decades indoors.
Styling it at home
Hang it where you want the beach without the souvenir look: a bathroom, a coastal living room, a guest bedroom. Pair it with rattan, white linen and pale oak. Natural and white frames suit it best. It also makes a good pair with the shoreline prints in our abstract landscape range.
Shipping and care
Unframed prints ship rolled in a protective tube. Framed canvas arrives ready to hang. Keep prints out of direct sunlight to protect the colour, and dust canvas with a dry, soft cloth.
Questions people ask
Is the paint raised? No — it is a flat print of a thickly painted surface, so the relief is visual only.
Is it a beach scene? It reads as water meeting sand, but there are no literal details such as boats or people.
Print & materials
Every design is made to order on one of three materials:
- Fine art paper — thick archival gallery-grade paper with a smooth matte finish, printed with fade-resistant pigment inks. The choice if you already own a frame.
- Matte canvas — gallery-wrapped over a solid wood stretcher, ready to hang straight out of the box. No glass, no glare.
- Framed canvas in white, black, espresso or natural wood — a slim solid-wood floating frame with the hanging hardware already fitted. Natural and espresso suit warm, timber-heavy rooms; white and black sit better in minimalist and monochrome spaces.
Sizes run from 8 x 12 inches up to large statement pieces, plus A4, A3, A2 and A1 for standard European frames. The exact sizes available for this design are listed in the Size menu above.

Keep artwork out of direct sunlight. Wipe framed canvas with a dry, soft cloth. Handle paper prints by the edges until they are framed.

Materials
Three ways to print it.
Same artwork, same colour-managed printing — the material decides how it hangs and how much wall it holds.
Fine art paper
Thick archival gallery-grade paper with a smooth matte finish, printed with fade-resistant pigment inks.
- The most affordable option, and the one to pick if you already own a frame.
- Reads slightly softer than canvas.
- Ships rolled in a rigid tube.
Matte canvas
Gallery-wrapped over a solid wood stretcher, ready to hang straight out of the box.
- No glass, so no glare — good for bright rooms.
- Holds a touch more contrast than paper.
- Boxed with corner guards.
Framed canvas
A slim solid-wood floating frame with the hanging hardware already fitted, in white, black, espresso or natural wood.
- Natural and espresso suit warm, timber-heavy rooms.
- White and black sit better in minimalist and monochrome spaces.
- The usual choice for a feature wall — nothing to assemble.
