This Stockholm flower market wall art print fills the foreground with a cheerful, folk-style meadow below a row of colorful houses. It is a stylized, imaginative take on Stockholm — an artistic interpretation inspired by the city, not a literal view of its old town or skyline.
About the artwork
A digital watercolor-and-gouache-style illustration with a washy blue sky and opaque, bold flowers. A row of colorful townhouses, a green copper-style dome and a dark pointed spire sit in the upper third, with a few glass towers behind. Below, trees give way to a dense meadow of daisies, blue blooms and orange and red flowers, under a cloudy swirl of blue and cream. "FLOWER MARKET" runs across the top in blue serif capitals, with "Stockholm" handwritten in orange below.
Why you'll love it
- Folk-art charm. Simple, naive shapes give it a playful Scandinavian feel.
- Primary-color pop. Cobalt, orange, yellow and red make it bright and upbeat.
- Painted houses. The colorful townhouse row adds a warm, lived-in touch.
- Made to order. Printed after you buy, colour-managed, never warehoused.
Sizes and materials
- Paper — archival matte, rolled and unframed. Thirteen sizes in all: 8" x 12" through 30" x 40", plus A4–A1.
- Matte canvas — stretched on a wooden bar, no glare, ready to hang. 12" x 16" to 30" x 40".
- Framed canvas — solid wood floating frame in white, black, espresso or natural. 12" x 16" to 30" x 40".
- Pigment-based archival inks, rated to resist fading for decades indoors.
Styling it at home
Great for a kitchen, kids' room or casual living space. Pair it with white walls, light birch and cobalt or red accents. A fun gift for a Swedish friend or anyone who has wandered Stockholm.
Shipping and care
Unframed prints ship rolled in a protective tube. Framed canvas arrives ready to hang. Keep prints out of direct sunlight to protect the colour, and dust canvas with a dry, soft cloth.
Questions people ask
Is this an exact view of Stockholm? No. It is a stylized, imaginative interpretation of Stockholm. You see colorful townhouses, a green dome, a dark spire and a folk-style meadow of daisies, composed as an artistic scene.
What text is printed on it? It reads "FLOWER MARKET" at the top, then "CITIES & FLOWERS COLLECTION" and "NO.026" beneath the artwork, with "Stockholm" handwritten in script at the bottom.
Print & materials
Every design is made to order on one of three materials:
- Fine art paper — thick archival gallery-grade paper with a smooth matte finish, printed with fade-resistant pigment inks. The choice if you already own a frame.
- Matte canvas — gallery-wrapped over a solid wood stretcher, ready to hang straight out of the box. No glass, no glare.
- Framed canvas in white, black, espresso or natural wood — a slim solid-wood floating frame with the hanging hardware already fitted. Natural and espresso suit warm, timber-heavy rooms; white and black sit better in minimalist and monochrome spaces.
Sizes run from 8 x 12 inches up to large statement pieces, plus A4, A3, A2 and A1 for standard European frames. The exact sizes available for this design are listed in the Size menu above.

Materials
Three ways to print it.
Same artwork, same colour-managed printing — the material decides how it hangs and how much wall it holds.
Fine art paper
Thick archival gallery-grade paper with a smooth matte finish, printed with fade-resistant pigment inks.
- The most affordable option, and the one to pick if you already own a frame.
- Reads slightly softer than canvas.
- Ships rolled in a rigid tube.
Matte canvas
Gallery-wrapped over a solid wood stretcher, ready to hang straight out of the box.
- No glass, so no glare — good for bright rooms.
- Holds a touch more contrast than paper.
- Boxed with corner guards.
Framed canvas
A slim solid-wood floating frame with the hanging hardware already fitted, in white, black, espresso or natural wood.
- Natural and espresso suit warm, timber-heavy rooms.
- White and black sit better in minimalist and monochrome spaces.
- The usual choice for a feature wall — nothing to assemble.
