This Silver Springs State Park watercolor print shows two classic glass-bottom boats with white canopy roofs gliding across the clear blue-green head spring. It is an artistic, watercolor-style interpretation of the Florida spring, not an exact view.
About the artwork
Many transparent layers of turquoise and blue build the spring, with the pale limestone bottom showing through. Fine brown-grey ink outlines the glass-bottom boats, the wooden dock and its roof. The palette is jade, blue, palm and oak green and cypress brown, with white boat roofs and a red kayak. The boats glide across the middle ground, seen from the historic boat dock at the head of the Silver River, with the covered dock at the lower left. Live oaks with Spanish moss, bald cypress and cabbage palms line both sides, and the Silver River winds into the forest behind. "SILVER SPRINGS" is set in spaced navy capitals across the top.
Why you'll love it
- Vintage glass-bottom boats. Tiny passengers ride in the flat-roofed boats, a classic Florida scene.
- Anhinga on a branch. A bird spreads its wings to dry on a bare limb.
- Limestone through water. The pale spring floor shows through layers of clear color.
- Made to order. Printed after you buy, colour-managed, never warehoused.
Sizes and materials
- Paper — archival matte, rolled and unframed. Thirteen sizes in all: 8" x 12" through 30" x 40", plus A4–A1.
- Matte canvas — stretched on a wooden bar, no glare, ready to hang. 12" x 16" to 30" x 40".

Styling it at home
Cool blues and greens suit a coastal living room, a bathroom or a guest room. It makes a nostalgic gift for someone who rode the boats as a kid or a newcomer to Ocala.
Shipping and care
Unframed prints ship rolled in a protective tube. Framed canvas arrives ready to hang. Keep prints out of direct sunlight to protect the colour, and dust canvas with a dry, soft cloth.
Questions people ask
Is this an exact view of Silver Springs State Park? No. It is an artistic watercolor interpretation of Silver Springs, painted to share the feel of the spring rather than its exact layout.
What text is printed on it? Only the name "SILVER SPRINGS," set in spaced navy capitals across the top. There is no other lettering on the print.
Print & materials
Every design is made to order on one of three materials:
- Fine art paper — thick 200 gsm archival gallery-grade paper with a smooth matte finish, printed with fade-resistant pigment inks. The choice if you already own a frame.
- Matte canvas — gallery-wrapped over a solid wood stretcher, ready to hang straight out of the box. No glass, no glare.
- Framed canvas in white, black, espresso or natural wood — a slim solid-wood floating frame with the hanging hardware already fitted. Natural and espresso suit warm, timber-heavy rooms; white and black sit better in minimalist and monochrome spaces.
Sizes run from 8 x 12 inches up to large statement pieces, plus A4, A3, A2 and A1 for standard European frames. The exact sizes available for this design are listed in the Size menu above.

Same artwork, same colour-managed printing — the material decides how it hangs and how much wall it holds.

- Reads slightly softer than canvas.
- Ships rolled in a rigid tube.
Matte canvas
Gallery-wrapped over a solid wood stretcher, ready to hang straight out of the box.

- Boxed with corner guards.
Framed canvas
A slim solid-wood floating frame with the hanging hardware already fitted, in white, black, espresso or natural wood.
- Natural and espresso suit warm, timber-heavy rooms.
