This San Miguel de Allende watercolor print shows the pink spires of the Parroquia de San Miguel Arcángel above the town, seen from high on a cobbled hill. It is an artistic, watercolor-style interpretation of San Miguel de Allende, not an exact view of the town.
About the artwork
Fine ink lines draw each pointed spire of the church, washed in clear pink-orange. Jacaranda is dabbed in thick purple, magenta bougainvillea blooms along the left edge, and a pink drip runs down the lower left. The palette is pink cantera, saffron and earthy red walls, with jacaranda purple, hot pink and the blue of the reservoir. La Parroquia sits left of center with its spires rising into the upper sheet, the large dome of the Templo de la Inmaculada Concepción and its bell tower stand on the right, and Presa Allende and dry purple hills lie behind. A cobbled slope between flower-covered yellow-orange walls fills the foreground in early spring. "SAN MIGUEL DE ALLENDE" is set in spaced navy capitals across the top.
Why you'll love it
- Mojiganga giant puppets. Two giant festival puppets, one in blue with a hat and one in a floral dress, parade down the street.
- Donkey with baskets. A donkey carrying woven baskets climbs the cobblestones.
- Jacaranda season. Purple jacaranda blooms soften the warm pink and gold town.
- Made to order. Printed after you buy, colour-managed, never warehoused.

Styling it at home
Pink, saffron and purple suit a sunny living room, a bedroom with warm white walls or a creative studio. It is a happy gift for someone who retired there, married there or keeps going back.
Shipping and care
Unframed prints ship rolled in a protective tube. Framed canvas arrives ready to hang. Keep prints out of direct sunlight to protect the colour, and dust canvas with a dry, soft cloth.
Questions people ask
Is this an exact view of San Miguel de Allende? No. It is an artistic interpretation of San Miguel de Allende, painted loosely around La Parroquia and its surrounding rooftops.
What text is printed on it? Only the city name, "SAN MIGUEL DE ALLENDE," set in spaced navy capitals across the top. There is no other lettering on the print.
Print & materials
Every design is made to order on one of three materials:
- Fine art paper — thick 200 gsm archival gallery-grade paper with a smooth matte finish, printed with fade-resistant pigment inks. The choice if you already own a frame.
- Matte canvas — gallery-wrapped over a solid wood stretcher, ready to hang straight out of the box. No glass, no glare.
- Framed canvas in white, black, espresso or natural wood — a slim solid-wood floating frame with the hanging hardware already fitted. Natural and espresso suit warm, timber-heavy rooms; white and black sit better in minimalist and monochrome spaces.
Sizes run from 8 x 12 inches up to large statement pieces, plus A4, A3, A2 and A1 for standard European frames. The exact sizes available for this design are listed in the Size menu above.

Three ways to print it.
Same artwork, same colour-managed printing — the material decides how it hangs and how much wall it holds.

- Reads slightly softer than canvas.
- Ships rolled in a rigid tube.
Matte canvas
Gallery-wrapped over a solid wood stretcher, ready to hang straight out of the box.

- Boxed with corner guards.
Framed canvas
A slim solid-wood floating frame with the hanging hardware already fitted, in white, black, espresso or natural wood.
- Natural and espresso suit warm, timber-heavy rooms.
- White and black sit better in minimalist and monochrome spaces.
