This Rome flower market wall art print imagines an Italian villa garden in cool teal and cobalt. It is a stylized, imaginative take on Rome — an artistic interpretation inspired by the city, not a literal view of its streets or monuments.
About the artwork
A digital watercolor-style illustration with soft washes and fine, grainy speckles. A white villa with arches and a turquoise dome sits in the upper third, flanked by tall cypresses and dark green hills. Below, dense blue-green shrubs are dotted with peach roses and small orange and white accents. The plain cream sky keeps the scene calm. "FLOWER MARKET" runs across the top in teal serif capitals, with "Rome" handwritten in orange below.
Why you'll love it
- Cool, calm palette. Teal and cobalt make this one of the quietest pieces in the series.
- Classic Italian mood. Cypresses and an arched villa evoke a slow summer afternoon.
- Warm accents. Peach roses and orange dots keep the blues from feeling cold.
- Made to order. Printed after you buy, colour-managed, never warehoused.
Sizes and materials
- Paper — archival matte, rolled and unframed. Thirteen sizes in all: 8" x 12" through 30" x 40", plus A4–A1.
- Matte canvas — stretched on a wooden bar, no glare, ready to hang. 12" x 16" to 30" x 40".
- Framed canvas — solid wood floating frame in white, black, espresso or natural. 12" x 16" to 30" x 40".
- Pigment-based archival inks, rated to resist fading for decades indoors.
Styling it at home
Ideal for a dining room, bedroom or study where a cooler, restful palette fits. Pair it with cream walls, navy textiles and terracotta pots. A thoughtful gift for anyone who loves Italy or is planning a Rome trip.
Shipping and care
Unframed prints ship rolled in a protective tube. Framed canvas arrives ready to hang. Keep prints out of direct sunlight to protect the colour, and dust canvas with a dry, soft cloth.
Questions people ask
Is this an exact view of Rome? No. It is a stylized, imaginative interpretation of Rome. You see a white domed villa, cypress trees and a blue-green garden with peach roses, a mood piece rather than a specific Roman landmark.
What text is printed on it? It reads "FLOWER MARKET" at the top, then "CITIES & FLOWERS COLLECTION" and "NO.046" beneath the artwork, with "Rome" handwritten in script at the bottom.
Print & materials
Every design is made to order on one of three materials:
- Fine art paper — thick archival gallery-grade paper with a smooth matte finish, printed with fade-resistant pigment inks. The choice if you already own a frame.
- Matte canvas — gallery-wrapped over a solid wood stretcher, ready to hang straight out of the box. No glass, no glare.
- Framed canvas in white, black, espresso or natural wood — a slim solid-wood floating frame with the hanging hardware already fitted. Natural and espresso suit warm, timber-heavy rooms; white and black sit better in minimalist and monochrome spaces.
Sizes run from 8 x 12 inches up to large statement pieces, plus A4, A3, A2 and A1 for standard European frames. The exact sizes available for this design are listed in the Size menu above.

Materials
Three ways to print it.
Same artwork, same colour-managed printing — the material decides how it hangs and how much wall it holds.
Fine art paper
Thick archival gallery-grade paper with a smooth matte finish, printed with fade-resistant pigment inks.
- The most affordable option, and the one to pick if you already own a frame.
- Reads slightly softer than canvas.
- Ships rolled in a rigid tube.
Matte canvas
Gallery-wrapped over a solid wood stretcher, ready to hang straight out of the box.
- No glass, so no glare — good for bright rooms.
- Holds a touch more contrast than paper.
- Boxed with corner guards.
Framed canvas
A slim solid-wood floating frame with the hanging hardware already fitted, in white, black, espresso or natural wood.
- Natural and espresso suit warm, timber-heavy rooms.
- White and black sit better in minimalist and monochrome spaces.
- The usual choice for a feature wall — nothing to assemble.
