A kitchen wall art print laid out like a page from an illustrated dictionary: nine pickle specimens, jars and cut slices, in shades of green.
About the artwork
Each object is filled flat and then given two or three strokes of light and shade, which is enough to make the glass read as glass. The jars are drawn semi-transparent so you can see the pickles stacked inside them. The four jars are deliberately different: one with a black lid and a round label, one covered with cloth and tied with string, one with a green lid and a laurel-wreath label, one with a silver lid and a rectangular label. Three kinds of cut are shown too — a crinkle-edged round, a seeded round, and a whole cucumber. The title is set in very heavy caps with white pinholes broken through it.
Why you'll love it
- Nine specimens. Jars and cuts, each drawn separately in its own space.
- Four different jars. Black lid, cloth and string, laurel label, silver lid.
- Green on green. Olive, moss, lime and sage on cream.
- Made to order. Printed after you buy, colour-managed, never warehoused.
Sizes and materials
- Paper — archival matte, rolled and unframed. Thirteen sizes in all: 8" x 12" through 30" x 40", plus A4–A1.
- Matte canvas — stretched on a wooden bar, no glare, ready to hang. 12" x 16" to 30" x 40".
- Framed canvas — solid wood floating frame in white, black, espresso or natural. 12" x 16" to 30" x 40".
- Pigment-based archival inks, rated to resist fading for decades indoors.
Styling it at home
Green is the easiest colour to put in a kitchen and a chart layout suits a wall people walk past slowly — a pantry, a larder door, the run of wall beside a fridge. It pairs with the nine-plate chart print, which uses the same grid idea. Natural oak suits it best.
Shipping and care
Unframed prints ship rolled in a protective tube. Framed canvas arrives ready to hang. Keep prints out of direct sunlight to protect the colour, and dust canvas with a dry, soft cloth.
Questions people ask
What does it say? PICKLES as the title, with “organic”, “DILL”, “PICKLES” and “Pickles” on the jar labels.
How many jars are there? Four, each with a different lid and label, alongside cut slices and a whole cucumber.
Print & materials
Every design is made to order on one of three materials:
- Fine art paper — thick archival gallery-grade paper with a smooth matte finish, printed with fade-resistant pigment inks. The choice if you already own a frame.
- Matte canvas — gallery-wrapped over a solid wood stretcher, ready to hang straight out of the box. No glass, no glare.
- Framed canvas in white, black, espresso or natural wood — a slim solid-wood floating frame with the hanging hardware already fitted. Natural and espresso suit warm, timber-heavy rooms; white and black sit better in minimalist and monochrome spaces.
Sizes run from 8 x 12 inches up to large statement pieces, plus A4, A3, A2 and A1 for standard European frames. The exact sizes available for this design are listed in the Size menu above.

Damage, defects & care
Every piece is printed for you after you order, so we cannot take a print back for a change of mind — please check the size and material first. Our Size Guide shows every size drawn to scale.
If it arrives damaged, misprinted or simply wrong, email us within 14 days with photos of the piece and the packaging. We reprint and reship it free, and there is nothing to send back.
Keep artwork out of direct sunlight. Wipe framed canvas with a dry, soft cloth. Handle paper prints by the edges until they are framed.

Materials
Three ways to print it.
Same artwork, same colour-managed printing — the material decides how it hangs and how much wall it holds.
Fine art paper
Thick archival gallery-grade paper with a smooth matte finish, printed with fade-resistant pigment inks.
- The most affordable option, and the one to pick if you already own a frame.
- Reads slightly softer than canvas.
- Ships rolled in a rigid tube.
Matte canvas
Gallery-wrapped over a solid wood stretcher, ready to hang straight out of the box.
- No glass, so no glare — good for bright rooms.
- Holds a touch more contrast than paper.
- Boxed with corner guards.
Framed canvas
A slim solid-wood floating frame with the hanging hardware already fitted, in white, black, espresso or natural wood.
- Natural and espresso suit warm, timber-heavy rooms.
- White and black sit better in minimalist and monochrome spaces.
- The usual choice for a feature wall — nothing to assemble.
