This Pelourinho Salvador Brazil poster looks straight down a cobbled street in the old town. Townhouses in coral, mustard, blue and mint press in on both sides under terracotta roofs, with wrought-iron balconies and black lamp posts. A pink and blue bell tower stands close on the right, market awnings crowd the dip below, and a twin-towered white church closes the top of the hill.
About the artwork
A flat vector illustration with soft airbrushed shading, so the facades keep clean edges while warm light falls across them. The palette is saturated: coral pink, ochre and mustard, sea blue and mint, terracotta tile, cream stonework and a flat turquoise sky. One-point perspective runs the cobbles up to the church. SALVADOR and BRAZIL are set in white capitals at the top. Portrait, 2:3.
Why you'll love it
- Colour without a filter — every house takes a different shade, a whole scheme in one print.
- A street with people — shoppers, stalls and umbrellas fill the hill.
- Two landmarks in one view — the near bell tower and the twin-towered church anchor each end.
- Warm counterweight — the coral and ochre balance a room that leans cool or grey.
Sizes and materials
- Paper — archival matte, rolled and unframed. Nine sizes from 8" x 12" to 30" x 40", plus A4–A1 for European frames.
- Matte canvas — stretched on a wooden bar, no glare, ready to hang.
- Framed canvas — solid wood floating frame in white, black, espresso or natural.
- Pigment-based archival inks, rated to resist fading for decades indoors.
Styling it at home
The coral and mustard palette is happiest against off-white, warm sand or a deep teal wall that answers the blue houses. Terracotta pots, rust or ochre textiles and dark stained wood pick it up rather than fight it. It suits a kitchen or dining room above a sideboard, and in an entryway a black frame sharpens the iron balconies. Quiet neighbouring art keeps the facades loudest.
Shipping and care
Unframed prints ship rolled in a protective tube. Framed canvas arrives ready to hang. Keep prints out of direct sunlight to protect the colour, and dust canvas with a dry, soft cloth.
Questions people ask
What are the two churches in the view? The near one is the pink and blue bell tower on the right, with a cream stone crown and an open bell arch; the pale twin-towered church sits at the top of the cobbled hill. The print names the city rather than the district, so the artwork reads Salvador and Brazil while this quarter is the historic Pelourinho.
What size should I get? Above a sofa or bed, 24" x 36" or 30" x 40" holds the wall. For a desk, shelf or gallery grouping, 12" x 18" and 16" x 24" are the easiest to place.
Does it come framed? Paper and matte canvas arrive unframed. The framed canvas option adds a solid wood floating frame in white, black, espresso or natural.
Print & materials
Every design is made to order on one of three materials:
- Fine art paper — thick 200 gsm archival gallery-grade paper with a smooth matte finish, printed with fade-resistant pigment inks. The choice if you already own a frame.
- Matte canvas — gallery-wrapped over a solid wood stretcher, ready to hang straight out of the box. No glass, no glare.
- Framed canvas in white, black, espresso or natural wood — a slim solid-wood floating frame with the hanging hardware already fitted. Natural and espresso suit warm, timber-heavy rooms; white and black sit better in minimalist and monochrome spaces.
Sizes run from 8 x 12 inches up to large statement pieces, plus A4, A3, A2 and A1 for standard European frames. The exact sizes available for this design are listed in the Size menu above.

Materials
Three ways to print it.
Same artwork, same colour-managed printing — the material decides how it hangs and how much wall it holds.
Fine art paper
Thick 200 gsm archival gallery-grade paper with a smooth matte finish, printed with fade-resistant pigment inks.
- The most affordable option, and the one to pick if you already own a frame.
- Reads slightly softer than canvas.
- Ships rolled in a rigid tube.
Matte canvas
Gallery-wrapped over a solid wood stretcher, ready to hang straight out of the box.
- No glass, so no glare — good for bright rooms.
- Holds a touch more contrast than paper.
- Boxed with corner guards.
Framed canvas
A slim solid-wood floating frame with the hanging hardware already fitted, in white, black, espresso or natural wood.
- Natural and espresso suit warm, timber-heavy rooms.
- White and black sit better in minimalist and monochrome spaces.
- The usual choice for a feature wall — nothing to assemble.
