A vehicle nursery wall art print of a pelican in a brick red cap driving a blue-grey vintage off-road truck, two surfboards strapped to the roof.
About the artwork
The truck rolls to the right across the centre of the frame, painted slate blue with brown trim and chunky tyres. A small wave mark sits on its side. At the wheel, the pelican wears a sailor-style peaked cap in brick red. On the roof are two boards, one dusty rose and one pale blue. The sand beige background is brushed with uneven vertical stripes in blue-grey, and a light grain runs through the whole digital illustration for a relaxed, vintage surf mood.
Why you'll love it
- Road trip ready. A pelican heading for the waves gives the room a sunny, adventurous story.
- Soft coastal tones. Slate blue, sand and brick red feel calm and beachy.
- Pairs with pink. The same scene also comes with a beige truck on pink stripes.
- Made to order. Printed after you buy, colour-managed, never warehoused.
Sizes and materials
- Paper — archival matte, rolled and unframed. 12" x 8" through 54" x 36", plus A4–A1.
- Matte canvas — stretched on a wooden bar, no glare, ready to hang. 18" x 12" to 48" x 32".
- Framed canvas — solid wood floating frame in white, black, espresso or natural. 18" x 12" to 48" x 32".
- Pigment-based archival inks, rated to resist fading for decades indoors.
Styling it at home
Hang it above a cot or a toy shelf in a coastal or vehicle-themed room. White or natural frames suit the sandy background. Add a blue-and-white striped rug or a red cap-coloured cushion to tie the room back to the print.
Shipping and care
Unframed prints ship rolled in a protective tube. Framed canvas arrives ready to hang. Keep prints out of direct sunlight to protect the colour, and dust canvas with a dry, soft cloth.
Questions people ask
Is there a pink version? Yes. The same pelican and truck come in a pink-striped version with a beige truck and a dusty pink cap.
Is it landscape? Yes. The truck is drawn side-on across a wide horizontal format.
Print & materials
Every design is made to order on one of three materials:
- Fine art paper — thick archival gallery-grade paper with a smooth matte finish, printed with fade-resistant pigment inks. The choice if you already own a frame.
- Matte canvas — gallery-wrapped over a solid wood stretcher, ready to hang straight out of the box. No glass, no glare.
- Framed canvas in white, black, espresso or natural wood — a slim solid-wood floating frame with the hanging hardware already fitted. Natural and espresso suit warm, timber-heavy rooms; white and black sit better in minimalist and monochrome spaces.
Sizes run from 8 x 12 inches up to large statement pieces, plus A4, A3, A2 and A1 for standard European frames. The exact sizes available for this design are listed in the Size menu above.

Materials
Three ways to print it.
Same artwork, same colour-managed printing — the material decides how it hangs and how much wall it holds.
Fine art paper
Thick archival gallery-grade paper with a smooth matte finish, printed with fade-resistant pigment inks.
- The most affordable option, and the one to pick if you already own a frame.
- Reads slightly softer than canvas.
- Ships rolled in a rigid tube.
Matte canvas
Gallery-wrapped over a solid wood stretcher, ready to hang straight out of the box.
- No glass, so no glare — good for bright rooms.
- Holds a touch more contrast than paper.
- Boxed with corner guards.
Framed canvas
A slim solid-wood floating frame with the hanging hardware already fitted, in white, black, espresso or natural wood.
- Natural and espresso suit warm, timber-heavy rooms.
- White and black sit better in minimalist and monochrome spaces.
- The usual choice for a feature wall — nothing to assemble.
