A bakery wall art print with no words on it at all: four pancakes stacked high, syrup running over the edge, on a big pink check.
About the artwork
The pancakes are painted in watercolour with no outline anywhere — the edges are where one wash stops and another begins. The syrup is the most worked passage, an orange-brown glaze with bare paper left through it to read as gloss, running down the side in three separate streams and pooling at the base of the stack. Two strawberries sit on top with their seeds dotted in with the tip of the brush, alongside two mint leaves, and a square of butter is melting at the right edge. Behind it the check is large, flat and evenly painted, with no texture at all.
Why you'll love it
- No lettering. One of the few prints here that carries no words.
- Syrup in three streams. Running over the edge and pooling at the base.
- Flat check, wet paint. A perfectly even pink grid behind loose watercolour.
- Made to order. Printed after you buy, colour-managed, never warehoused.
Sizes and materials
- Paper — archival matte, rolled and unframed. Thirteen sizes in all: 8" x 12" through 30" x 40", plus A4–A1.
- Matte canvas — stretched on a wooden bar, no glare, ready to hang. 12" x 16" to 30" x 40".
- Framed canvas — solid wood floating frame in white, black, espresso or natural. 12" x 16" to 30" x 40".
- Pigment-based archival inks, rated to resist fading for decades indoors.
Styling it at home
Wordless food prints are the easiest to place, because there is no message to clash with the room. Good over a breakfast table, in a kitchen, or in a child's eating corner. Pink and butter yellow suit white and pale wood. Natural and white frames both work.
Shipping and care
Unframed prints ship rolled in a protective tube. Framed canvas arrives ready to hang. Keep prints out of direct sunlight to protect the colour, and dust canvas with a dry, soft cloth.
Questions people ask
Is there any text on it? No — the poster carries no words.
What is on top of the pancakes? Two strawberries, two mint leaves, and a square of butter melting at the right.
Print & materials
Every design is made to order on one of three materials:
- Fine art paper — thick archival gallery-grade paper with a smooth matte finish, printed with fade-resistant pigment inks. The choice if you already own a frame.
- Matte canvas — gallery-wrapped over a solid wood stretcher, ready to hang straight out of the box. No glass, no glare.
- Framed canvas in white, black, espresso or natural wood — a slim solid-wood floating frame with the hanging hardware already fitted. Natural and espresso suit warm, timber-heavy rooms; white and black sit better in minimalist and monochrome spaces.
Sizes run from 8 x 12 inches up to large statement pieces, plus A4, A3, A2 and A1 for standard European frames. The exact sizes available for this design are listed in the Size menu above.

Materials
Three ways to print it.
Same artwork, same colour-managed printing — the material decides how it hangs and how much wall it holds.
Fine art paper
Thick archival gallery-grade paper with a smooth matte finish, printed with fade-resistant pigment inks.
- The most affordable option, and the one to pick if you already own a frame.
- Reads slightly softer than canvas.
- Ships rolled in a rigid tube.
Matte canvas
Gallery-wrapped over a solid wood stretcher, ready to hang straight out of the box.
- No glass, so no glare — good for bright rooms.
- Holds a touch more contrast than paper.
- Boxed with corner guards.
Framed canvas
A slim solid-wood floating frame with the hanging hardware already fitted, in white, black, espresso or natural wood.
- Natural and espresso suit warm, timber-heavy rooms.
- White and black sit better in minimalist and monochrome spaces.
- The usual choice for a feature wall — nothing to assemble.
