A mid century abstract wall art print in flat screen-print colour: a burnt orange sun and a solid black disc hang over black hills striped with fine cream lines, on a pale blush ground.
About the artwork
The two suns are handled in opposite ways. The orange one is rough, built from dry-brushed ink with grain showing through and streaks dragged down its lower edge, while the black disc that overlaps it is perfectly flat. Below them about fourteen parallel cream lines ripple across the dark hills like water. A wide margin is left all round, a slightly deeper beige border framing the picture the way an old gallery print would.
Why you'll love it
- Calm but not plain. Three colours and a lot of space — it settles a busy wall.
- Pairs easily. Hang it with the red sun prints in the same range for a matched set.
- Reads from across a room. The black shapes hold at any size.
- Made to order. Printed after you buy, colour-managed, never warehoused.
Sizes and materials
- Paper — archival matte, rolled and unframed. Thirteen sizes in all: 8" x 12" through 30" x 40", plus A4–A1.
- Matte canvas — stretched on a wooden bar, no glare, ready to hang. 12" x 16" to 30" x 40".
- Framed canvas — solid wood floating frame in white, black, espresso or natural. 12" x 16" to 30" x 40".
- Pigment-based archival inks, rated to resist fading for decades indoors.
Styling it at home
Two suns side by side — one rough, one exact — give this print its tension, so let it hang alone above a sofa or a desk where it can be looked at. It suits walnut, tan leather and linen, and a natural oak or black frame. As a pair, put it beside a red sun print for a warm-and-hot contrast.
Shipping and care
Unframed prints ship rolled in a protective tube. Framed canvas arrives ready to hang. Keep prints out of direct sunlight to protect the colour, and dust canvas with a dry, soft cloth.
Questions people ask
Is there any text on it? No — the image is shapes and lines only.
Is the texture raised? No. The grain and dry-brush marks are part of the printed image; the surface is flat.
Print & materials
Every design is made to order on one of three materials:
- Fine art paper — thick archival gallery-grade paper with a smooth matte finish, printed with fade-resistant pigment inks. The choice if you already own a frame.
- Matte canvas — gallery-wrapped over a solid wood stretcher, ready to hang straight out of the box. No glass, no glare.
- Framed canvas in white, black, espresso or natural wood — a slim solid-wood floating frame with the hanging hardware already fitted. Natural and espresso suit warm, timber-heavy rooms; white and black sit better in minimalist and monochrome spaces.
Sizes run from 8 x 12 inches up to large statement pieces, plus A4, A3, A2 and A1 for standard European frames. The exact sizes available for this design are listed in the Size menu above.

Materials
Three ways to print it.
Same artwork, same colour-managed printing — the material decides how it hangs and how much wall it holds.
Fine art paper
Thick archival gallery-grade paper with a smooth matte finish, printed with fade-resistant pigment inks.
- The most affordable option, and the one to pick if you already own a frame.
- Reads slightly softer than canvas.
- Ships rolled in a rigid tube.
Matte canvas
Gallery-wrapped over a solid wood stretcher, ready to hang straight out of the box.
- No glass, so no glare — good for bright rooms.
- Holds a touch more contrast than paper.
- Boxed with corner guards.
Framed canvas
A slim solid-wood floating frame with the hanging hardware already fitted, in white, black, espresso or natural wood.
- Natural and espresso suit warm, timber-heavy rooms.
- White and black sit better in minimalist and monochrome spaces.
- The usual choice for a feature wall — nothing to assemble.
