This Omaha watercolor print shows the white towers of the Bob Kerrey Pedestrian Bridge crossing the Missouri River, with the downtown skyline rising behind it. It is an artistic, watercolor-style interpretation of Omaha, not an exact view of the city.
About the artwork
Fine brown-gray ink lines trace the bridge cables and tower windows, while layered blue washes give the river long vertical reflections. River and sky blues lead the palette, joined by mossy green banks, brick-red warehouses and the white accents of the bridge towers and cables. The bridge spans the middle ground, and the dark glass First National Bank Tower stands tallest at the center of the skyline, with the Omaha skyline spread around it. A grassy riverbank and a curving walking path fill the foreground, seen from a raised viewpoint that gives the scene real depth. Early summer greens are fresh, and the lower left edge melts into moss, violet and ochre drips with blue and yellow splatter around a white paper border. "OMAHA" is set in spaced navy capitals across the top.
Why you'll love it
- River cruise detail. A large white multi-deck tour boat glides along the river below the bridge.
- Riverfront life. Walkers and cyclists share a path lined with old-fashioned lampposts while a flock of geese crosses the sky.
- Elevated perspective. The high view down the bank pulls the eye from the grass to the skyline.
- Made to order. Printed after you buy, colour-managed, never warehoused.
Sizes and materials
- Paper — archival matte, rolled and unframed. Thirteen sizes in all: 8" x 12" through 30" x 40", plus A4–A1.
- Matte canvas — stretched on a wooden bar, no glare, ready to hang. 12" x 16" to 30" x 40".
- Framed canvas — solid wood floating frame in white, black, espresso or natural. 12" x 16" to 30" x 40".
- Pigment-based archival inks, rated to resist fading for decades indoors.
Styling it at home
Its cool river blues and soft greens sit well in a living room, home office or entryway with navy, white or natural wood accents. It makes a thoughtful gift for an Omaha native, a new Nebraska homeowner, or anyone who has walked the riverfront.
Shipping and care
Unframed prints ship rolled in a protective tube. Framed canvas arrives ready to hang. Keep prints out of direct sunlight to protect the colour, and dust canvas with a dry, soft cloth.
Questions people ask
Is this an exact view of Omaha? No. It is an artistic interpretation of the Omaha riverfront, and some details, such as the boats on the river, are simplified or reimagined.
What text is printed on it? Only the city name, "OMAHA," set in spaced navy capitals across the top. There is no other lettering on the print.
Print & materials
Every design is made to order on one of three materials:
- Fine art paper — thick 200 gsm archival gallery-grade paper with a smooth matte finish, printed with fade-resistant pigment inks. The choice if you already own a frame.
- Matte canvas — gallery-wrapped over a solid wood stretcher, ready to hang straight out of the box. No glass, no glare.
- Framed canvas in white, black, espresso or natural wood — a slim solid-wood floating frame with the hanging hardware already fitted. Natural and espresso suit warm, timber-heavy rooms; white and black sit better in minimalist and monochrome spaces.
Sizes run from 8 x 12 inches up to large statement pieces, plus A4, A3, A2 and A1 for standard European frames. The exact sizes available for this design are listed in the Size menu above.

Three ways to print it.
Same artwork, same colour-managed printing — the material decides how it hangs and how much wall it holds.
Fine art paper

- The most affordable option, and the one to pick if you already own a frame.
- Reads slightly softer than canvas.
- Ships rolled in a rigid tube.
Matte canvas
Gallery-wrapped over a solid wood stretcher, ready to hang straight out of the box.
- No glass, so no glare — good for bright rooms.
- Holds a touch more contrast than paper.
- Boxed with corner guards.
Framed canvas
A slim solid-wood floating frame with the hanging hardware already fitted, in white, black, espresso or natural wood.
- Natural and espresso suit warm, timber-heavy rooms.
- White and black sit better in minimalist and monochrome spaces.
- The usual choice for a feature wall — nothing to assemble.
