This Niagara-on-the-Lake watercolor print shows the Memorial Clock Tower, a square tower of rough gray stone standing in the middle of Queen Street. It is an artistic, watercolor-style interpretation of the Ontario town, not an exact view.
About the artwork
Each stone of the tower is outlined in fine ink and washed in gray-beige, while the tree canopies are built from layers of green and yellow. Hanging baskets are painted as pink and red dots of petunias. The view looks west down Queen Street with the clock tower at the center, heritage shopfronts and brick buildings with white trim, awnings and flower baskets on both sides, and a church spire in the distance. A wide sidewalk with flower beds, benches and street lamps leads in from the foreground in early summer. Pink and green splashes with drips along the lower left and bottom fade into a white paper border. "NIAGARA-ON-THE-LAKE" is set in spaced navy capitals across the top.
Why you'll love it
- Horse-drawn carriage. A carriage carries visitors down Queen Street, adding old-town charm.
- Hanging flower baskets. Pink petunia baskets on lamp posts make the street feel festive.
- Heritage main street. Brick shopfronts with green awnings lead straight to the stone clock tower.
- Made to order. Printed after you buy, colour-managed, never warehoused.
Sizes and materials
- Paper — archival matte, rolled and unframed. Thirteen sizes in all: 8" x 12" through 30" x 40", plus A4–A1.
- Matte canvas — stretched on a wooden bar, no glare, ready to hang. 12" x 16" to 30" x 40".
- Framed canvas — solid wood floating frame in white, black, espresso or natural. 12" x 16" to 30" x 40".
- Pigment-based archival inks, rated to resist fading for decades indoors.
Styling it at home
Leafy green, petunia pink and brick red brighten a breakfast nook, a hallway or a guest room with floral touches. It makes a sweet gift for a couple who toured the wine region, or for theater fans who visit for the summer festival season.
Shipping and care
Unframed prints ship rolled in a protective tube. Framed canvas arrives ready to hang. Keep prints out of direct sunlight to protect the colour, and dust canvas with a dry, soft cloth.
Questions people ask
Is this an exact view of Niagara-on-the-Lake? No. It is an artistic watercolor interpretation of Queen Street and the Memorial Clock Tower, with storefronts simplified for the composition.
What text is printed on it? Only the name "NIAGARA-ON-THE-LAKE," set in spaced navy capitals across the top. There is no other lettering on the print.
Print & materials
Every design is made to order on one of three materials:
- Fine art paper — thick 200 gsm archival gallery-grade paper with a smooth matte finish, printed with fade-resistant pigment inks. The choice if you already own a frame.
- Matte canvas — gallery-wrapped over a solid wood stretcher, ready to hang straight out of the box. No glass, no glare.
- Framed canvas in white, black, espresso or natural wood — a slim solid-wood floating frame with the hanging hardware already fitted. Natural and espresso suit warm, timber-heavy rooms; white and black sit better in minimalist and monochrome spaces.
Sizes run from 8 x 12 inches up to large statement pieces, plus A4, A3, A2 and A1 for standard European frames. The exact sizes available for this design are listed in the Size menu above.

Materials
Three ways to print it.
Same artwork, same colour-managed printing — the material decides how it hangs and how much wall it holds.
Fine art paper
Thick 200 gsm archival gallery-grade paper with a smooth matte finish, printed with fade-resistant pigment inks.
- The most affordable option, and the one to pick if you already own a frame.
- Reads slightly softer than canvas.
- Ships rolled in a rigid tube.
Matte canvas
Gallery-wrapped over a solid wood stretcher, ready to hang straight out of the box.
- No glass, so no glare — good for bright rooms.
- Holds a touch more contrast than paper.
- Boxed with corner guards.
Framed canvas
A slim solid-wood floating frame with the hanging hardware already fitted, in white, black, espresso or natural wood.
- Natural and espresso suit warm, timber-heavy rooms.
- White and black sit better in minimalist and monochrome spaces.
- The usual choice for a feature wall — nothing to assemble.
