This Myrtle Beach watercolor print shows the white SkyWheel rising over the Myrtle Beach Boardwalk, with hotels lining the Grand Strand into the distance. It is an artistic, watercolor-style interpretation of Myrtle Beach, not an exact view of the city.
About the artwork
Fine ink lines trace the wheel's spokes, the pier pilings and the sand fence, and turquoise waves break with white foam left as bare paper. Turquoise and ocean blue lead the palette, with pale golden sand, white hotels and colorful umbrellas and kites. The wheel stands on the right and reaches into the upper half, the wooden boardwalk and a long fishing pier fill the middle ground, and high-rise hotels follow the shoreline. Dunes with sea oats and a wooden picket fence form the foreground. It is high summer, and the lower edge melts into moss and ochre drips with blue and yellow splatter. "MYRTLE BEACH" is set in spaced navy capitals across the top.
Why you'll love it
- Kites on the sand. Children fly colorful kites along the beach.
- Striped umbrellas. Families gather under striped umbrellas near the surf.
- Dune fence foreground. Sea oats and weathered fence posts lead the eye toward the water.
- Made to order. Printed after you buy, colour-managed, never warehoused.
Sizes and materials
- Paper — archival matte, rolled and unframed. Thirteen sizes in all: 8" x 12" through 30" x 40", plus A4–A1.
- Matte canvas — stretched on a wooden bar, no glare, ready to hang. 12" x 16" to 30" x 40".
- Framed canvas — solid wood floating frame in white, black, espresso or natural. 12" x 16" to 30" x 40".
- Pigment-based archival inks, rated to resist fading for decades indoors.
Styling it at home
Its bright blues and sandy neutrals suit a beach house, a guest room or a bathroom with white and seaside tones. It makes a fun gift for a family that vacations on the Grand Strand every summer.
Shipping and care
Unframed prints ship rolled in a protective tube. Framed canvas arrives ready to hang. Keep prints out of direct sunlight to protect the colour, and dust canvas with a dry, soft cloth.
Questions people ask
Is this an exact view of Myrtle Beach? No. It is an artistic interpretation, and some details, such as the wheel's gondolas, are simplified.
What text is printed on it? Only the city name, "MYRTLE BEACH," set in spaced navy capitals across the top. There is no other lettering on the print.
Print & materials
Every design is made to order on one of three materials:
- Fine art paper — thick 200 gsm archival gallery-grade paper with a smooth matte finish, printed with fade-resistant pigment inks. The choice if you already own a frame.
- Matte canvas — gallery-wrapped over a solid wood stretcher, ready to hang straight out of the box. No glass, no glare.
- Framed canvas in white, black, espresso or natural wood — a slim solid-wood floating frame with the hanging hardware already fitted. Natural and espresso suit warm, timber-heavy rooms; white and black sit better in minimalist and monochrome spaces.
Sizes run from 8 x 12 inches up to large statement pieces, plus A4, A3, A2 and A1 for standard European frames. The exact sizes available for this design are listed in the Size menu above.

Materials
Three ways to print it.
Same artwork, same colour-managed printing — the material decides how it hangs and how much wall it holds.
Fine art paper
Thick 200 gsm archival gallery-grade paper with a smooth matte finish, printed with fade-resistant pigment inks.
- The most affordable option, and the one to pick if you already own a frame.
- Reads slightly softer than canvas.
- Ships rolled in a rigid tube.
Matte canvas
Gallery-wrapped over a solid wood stretcher, ready to hang straight out of the box.
- No glass, so no glare — good for bright rooms.
- Holds a touch more contrast than paper.
- Boxed with corner guards.
Framed canvas
A slim solid-wood floating frame with the hanging hardware already fitted, in white, black, espresso or natural wood.
- Natural and espresso suit warm, timber-heavy rooms.
- White and black sit better in minimalist and monochrome spaces.
- The usual choice for a feature wall — nothing to assemble.
