A seafood wall art print: two whole prawns stacked on an oval plate, drawn in fast red ink on blush pink, ringed by the words my kitchen my rules.
About the artwork
The plate stands upright rather than lying flat, which turns the still life into a poster shape. The line is drawn at speed and doubles over itself in places, with a few small solid red patches for shadow at the heads and between the shell segments. The two prawns lie one across the other, and their antennae run straight up past the rim of the plate and cut through the lettering above — the drawing and the type share the same space rather than sitting in layers. A cut half lemon rests at the foot of the plate. The two lines of cobalt brush type curve over and under, closing into an oval around the whole thing.
Why you'll love it
- Antennae through the type. The drawing refuses to stay in its box.
- Cobalt on blush. A cool line over a warm ground.
- A kitchen statement. Said once, without a exclamation mark.
- Made to order. Printed after you buy, colour-managed, never warehoused.
Sizes and materials
- Paper — archival matte, rolled and unframed. Thirteen sizes in all: 8" x 12" through 30" x 40", plus A4–A1.
- Matte canvas — stretched on a wooden bar, no glare, ready to hang. 12" x 16" to 30" x 40".
- Framed canvas — solid wood floating frame in white, black, espresso or natural. 12" x 16" to 30" x 40".
- Pigment-based archival inks, rated to resist fading for decades indoors.
Styling it at home
This one earns its place directly in a kitchen rather than a dining room — over a worktop, beside a hob, or on the wall facing whoever is cooking. The oval of type gives it a strong centre so it hangs happily alone. Natural wood keeps the pink warm; black frames sharpen the cobalt lettering.
Shipping and care
Unframed prints ship rolled in a protective tube. Framed canvas arrives ready to hang. Keep prints out of direct sunlight to protect the colour, and dust canvas with a dry, soft cloth.

Print & materials
Every design is made to order on one of three materials:
- Fine art paper — thick archival gallery-grade paper with a smooth matte finish, printed with fade-resistant pigment inks. The choice if you already own a frame.
- Matte canvas — gallery-wrapped over a solid wood stretcher, ready to hang straight out of the box. No glass, no glare.
- Framed canvas in white, black, espresso or natural wood — a slim solid-wood floating frame with the hanging hardware already fitted. Natural and espresso suit warm, timber-heavy rooms; white and black sit better in minimalist and monochrome spaces.
Sizes run from 8 x 12 inches up to large statement pieces, plus A4, A3, A2 and A1 for standard European frames. The exact sizes available for this design are listed in the Size menu above.

Materials
Three ways to print it.
Same artwork, same colour-managed printing — the material decides how it hangs and how much wall it holds.
Fine art paper
Thick archival gallery-grade paper with a smooth matte finish, printed with fade-resistant pigment inks.
- The most affordable option, and the one to pick if you already own a frame.
- Reads slightly softer than canvas.
- Ships rolled in a rigid tube.
Matte canvas
Gallery-wrapped over a solid wood stretcher, ready to hang straight out of the box.
- No glass, so no glare — good for bright rooms.
- Holds a touch more contrast than paper.
- Boxed with corner guards.
Framed canvas
A slim solid-wood floating frame with the hanging hardware already fitted, in white, black, espresso or natural wood.
- Natural and espresso suit warm, timber-heavy rooms.
- White and black sit better in minimalist and monochrome spaces.
- The usual choice for a feature wall — nothing to assemble.
