A Mount Fuji sakura print for a living room that needs a bright, simple focal point. The snowcapped mountain stands in front of an enormous red-orange sun, and a branch of pink cherry blossom crosses in front of blue foothills. The shapes are big and few, so it reads clearly from across the room.
About the artwork
A pale blue sky surrounds the red-orange sun, which sits behind the snowy summit like a backdrop. Lower down, the foothills turn a deeper blue, and a pink cherry branch runs across the front of them. Flat color and clean edges give it a retro travel-poster look, with warm and cool tones in even measure. The lettering reads HONSHU JAPAN and MOUNT FUJI, plus a short line of Japanese characters. Portrait.
Why you'll love it
- A huge sun behind the peak. The red-orange disc fills the sky behind Fuji, so the white summit is outlined against pure color.
- Blossom in the foreground. The cherry branch sits in front of the foothills, giving the picture a near layer and a far one.
- Cool and warm in balance. Pale blue sky and blue hills calm the red-orange sun and pink petals.
- Japan's highest peak, kept simple. Mount Fuji rises 3,776 m, and here it is reduced to a snowcap and flat color.
- Made to order. Printed after you buy, colour-managed, never warehoused.
Sizes and materials
- Paper — archival matte, rolled and unframed. Thirteen sizes in all: 8" x 12" through 30" x 40", plus A4–A1.
- Matte canvas — stretched on a wooden bar, no glare, ready to hang. 12" x 16" to 30" x 40".
- Framed canvas — solid wood floating frame in white, black, espresso or natural. 12" x 16" to 30" x 40".
- Pigment-based archival inks, rated to resist fading for decades indoors.
Styling it at home
Pale blue and pink keep this one light, so it suits a bright living room with white, pale gray or soft sage walls. Light oak shelves, a cream sofa and a jute rug match its easy mood. At 18" x 24" it fits between two windows or above a sideboard; go to 30" x 40" for a tall empty wall. Pair it with a pink cushion or a single blossom stem in a clear glass vase.
Shipping and care
Unframed prints ship rolled in a protective tube. Framed canvas arrives ready to hang. Keep prints out of direct sunlight to protect the colour, and dust canvas with a dry, soft cloth.
Questions people ask
Which colors stand out most? The red-orange sun and the pink cherry blossom are the warm notes. Pale blue sky and deeper blue foothills balance them.
How tall is Mount Fuji? Mount Fuji is 3,776 m, the highest peak in Japan. The print shows its snowcapped summit against the sun.
What size fits between two windows? 18" x 24" usually fits a gap between windows. For a larger wall on its own, 30" x 40" gives the sun real presence.
Print & materials
Every design is made to order on one of three materials:
- Fine art paper — thick 200 gsm archival gallery-grade paper with a smooth matte finish, printed with fade-resistant pigment inks. The choice if you already own a frame.
- Matte canvas — gallery-wrapped over a solid wood stretcher, ready to hang straight out of the box. No glass, no glare.
- Framed canvas in white, black, espresso or natural wood — a slim solid-wood floating frame with the hanging hardware already fitted. Natural and espresso suit warm, timber-heavy rooms; white and black sit better in minimalist and monochrome spaces.
Sizes run from 8 x 12 inches up to large statement pieces, plus A4, A3, A2 and A1 for standard European frames. The exact sizes available for this design are listed in the Size menu above.

Matte canvas
Gallery-wrapped over a solid wood stretcher, ready to hang straight out of the box.

Framed canvas
A slim solid-wood floating frame with the hanging hardware already fitted, in white, black, espresso or natural wood.
