A Mount Fuji Chureito Pagoda print for a living room that wants a spring view on the wall. The red pagoda rises from a forest of pink cherry trees, Fuji stands white and blue behind it, and a stream with a small waterfall runs through the front. Pastel tones keep the whole scene soft.
About the artwork
Pastel pink, red, white and pale blue make up the palette. The red Chureito pagoda is the anchor, set among pink cherry trees, with Mount Fuji in white and blue behind and a stream and small waterfall in the foreground, so the picture reads in three layers from front to back. The lettering reads MOUNT FUJI and 富士, and a Japanese line, 新倉山浅間神社, names Arakurayama Sengen Shrine. Portrait.
Why you'll love it
- Three layers of depth. Water in front, pagoda and blossoms in the middle, Fuji behind, so the eye travels back into the scene.
- Pastel, not postcard. Soft pinks and pale blue give a familiar view a gentler look than a bright photograph.
- A red pagoda to anchor it. The pagoda carries the strongest color, which gives the pastel scene a clear focal point.
- Lettering that names a place. 新倉山浅間神社 names Arakurayama Sengen Shrine, so the print points to a real location rather than a generic view.
- Made to order. Printed after you buy, colour-managed, never warehoused.
Sizes and materials
- Paper — archival matte, rolled and unframed. Thirteen sizes in all: 8" x 12" through 30" x 40", plus A4–A1.
- Matte canvas — stretched on a wooden bar, no glare, ready to hang. 12" x 16" to 30" x 40".
- Framed canvas — solid wood floating frame in white, black, espresso or natural. 12" x 16" to 30" x 40".
- Pigment-based archival inks, rated to resist fading for decades indoors.
Styling it at home
This suits a living room with white, pale pink or soft gray walls and light oak or white furniture. Above a sofa or a low media console, 24" x 36" lets the pagoda, blossoms and waterfall all read; a narrower wall beside a window takes 16" x 24". A natural solid wood floating frame warms the pastels. Pair it with a simple red ceramic vase or a pink throw to repeat the pagoda and the blossoms.
Shipping and care
Unframed prints ship rolled in a protective tube. Framed canvas arrives ready to hang. Keep prints out of direct sunlight to protect the colour, and dust canvas with a dry, soft cloth.
Questions people ask
What place does the lettering name? The Japanese line 新倉山浅間神社 names Arakurayama Sengen Shrine. The print also carries MOUNT FUJI and 富士.
Are the colors bright or soft? Soft. The pinks, whites and blues are pastel, with the red pagoda as the one stronger color.
Which frame color works with pastels? Natural or white solid wood floating frames keep it light. Espresso adds contrast if your walls are pale.
Print & materials
Every design is made to order on one of three materials:
- Fine art paper — thick 200 gsm archival gallery-grade paper with a smooth matte finish, printed with fade-resistant pigment inks. The choice if you already own a frame.
- Matte canvas — gallery-wrapped over a solid wood stretcher, ready to hang straight out of the box. No glass, no glare.
- Framed canvas in white, black, espresso or natural wood — a slim solid-wood floating frame with the hanging hardware already fitted. Natural and espresso suit warm, timber-heavy rooms; white and black sit better in minimalist and monochrome spaces.
Sizes run from 8 x 12 inches up to large statement pieces, plus A4, A3, A2 and A1 for standard European frames. The exact sizes available for this design are listed in the Size menu above.
