This London watercolor print shows Tower Bridge with a red double-decker bus crossing, the Tower of London on the right and The Shard in the distance. The artwork is an artistic, watercolor-style interpretation of London, not an exact view of the city.
About the artwork
Delicate ink lines pick out the Gothic towers, the blue and white suspension beams and the railings of an old timber pier. Blue-gray layers with broken horizontal strokes form the Thames, and the right edge and bottom fade into blue washes, splatters and drips below open white paper. Pale Portland stone, gray-blue water and soft blue bridge beams set a calm base, with red from the bus and the rust-red sails of a sailing barge. Tower Bridge stands in the center with both towers in the upper third, the White Tower and the City cluster with The Gherkin sit to the right, and The Shard rises far off on the left. Brick warehouses with iron balconies and a riverside walk fill the left foreground in late spring. "LONDON" is set in spaced navy capitals across the top.
Why you'll love it
- Red bus on the bridge. A double-decker bus crossing Tower Bridge adds a classic London accent.
- Rust-red sails. An old sailing barge with rust-red sails shares the river with a white riverboat.
- Old timber pier. A wooden pier with posts and café umbrellas sits along the riverside walk.
- Made to order. Printed after you buy, colour-managed, never warehoused.
Sizes and materials
- Paper — archival matte, rolled and unframed. Thirteen sizes in all: 8" x 12" through 30" x 40", plus A4–A1.
- Matte canvas — stretched on a wooden bar, no glare, ready to hang. 12" x 16" to 30" x 40".
- Framed canvas — solid wood floating frame in white, black, espresso or natural. 12" x 16" to 30" x 40".
- Pigment-based archival inks, rated to resist fading for decades indoors.
Styling it at home
Gray-blue water and warm stone suit a study, hallway or living room styled with navy, charcoal or red accents. It is a good pick for a London-born friend living abroad, or for anyone who studied in the city.
Shipping and care
Unframed prints ship rolled in a protective tube. Framed canvas arrives ready to hang. Keep prints out of direct sunlight to protect the colour, and dust canvas with a dry, soft cloth.
Questions people ask
Is this an exact view of London? No. It is an artistic interpretation of London in a watercolor style and captures the riverside mood rather than an exact view.
What text is printed on it? Only the city name, "LONDON," set in spaced navy capitals across the top. There is no other lettering on the print.
Print & materials
Every design is made to order on one of three materials:
- Fine art paper — thick 200 gsm archival gallery-grade paper with a smooth matte finish, printed with fade-resistant pigment inks. The choice if you already own a frame.
- Matte canvas — gallery-wrapped over a solid wood stretcher, ready to hang straight out of the box. No glass, no glare.
- Framed canvas in white, black, espresso or natural wood — a slim solid-wood floating frame with the hanging hardware already fitted. Natural and espresso suit warm, timber-heavy rooms; white and black sit better in minimalist and monochrome spaces.
Sizes run from 8 x 12 inches up to large statement pieces, plus A4, A3, A2 and A1 for standard European frames. The exact sizes available for this design are listed in the Size menu above.

Materials
Three ways to print it.
Same artwork, same colour-managed printing — the material decides how it hangs and how much wall it holds.
Fine art paper
Thick 200 gsm archival gallery-grade paper with a smooth matte finish, printed with fade-resistant pigment inks.
- The most affordable option, and the one to pick if you already own a frame.
- Reads slightly softer than canvas.
- Ships rolled in a rigid tube.
Matte canvas
Gallery-wrapped over a solid wood stretcher, ready to hang straight out of the box.
- No glass, so no glare — good for bright rooms.
- Holds a touch more contrast than paper.
- Boxed with corner guards.
Framed canvas
A slim solid-wood floating frame with the hanging hardware already fitted, in white, black, espresso or natural wood.
- Natural and espresso suit warm, timber-heavy rooms.
- White and black sit better in minimalist and monochrome spaces.
- The usual choice for a feature wall — nothing to assemble.
