A black and white roaring leopard poster: a high-contrast photograph of a leopard with its head thrown back, with the single word "roar" brushed over it in black.
About the artwork
The cat runs on a diagonal and fills almost the whole sheet, its mouth wide open and its long whiskers fanning out. The lettering sits to the right, right beside the open jaws, so the word reads like the sound coming out. The strokes are rough and uneven, with dry edges that look quick and loud. Everything else is left to clean white, which gives the black lettering and the dark fur their full punch.
Why you'll love it
- A statement wall. One roaring face and one word carry a whole room without extra decor.
- Reads from across the room. The high contrast stays sharp at a distance, even on a large wall.
- Easy black and white. No color to match, so it fits modern, industrial and neutral spaces.
- Made to order. Printed after you buy, colour-managed, never warehoused.
Sizes and materials
- Paper — archival matte, rolled and unframed. Thirteen sizes in all: 8" x 12" through 30" x 40", plus A4–A1.
- Matte canvas — stretched on a wooden bar, no glare, ready to hang. 12" x 16" to 30" x 40".
- Framed canvas — solid wood floating frame in white, black, espresso or natural. 12" x 16" to 30" x 40".
- Pigment-based archival inks, rated to resist fading for decades indoors.
Styling it at home
Hang it over a sofa or a desk in a living room or office with dark leather, concrete or matte black metal. A black frame doubles down on the contrast, while white keeps it airy. It pairs well with a calm, wordless leopard portrait from this range for a loud-and-quiet set.
Shipping and care
Unframed prints ship rolled in a protective tube. Framed canvas arrives ready to hang. Keep prints out of direct sunlight to protect the colour, and dust canvas with a dry, soft cloth.
Questions people ask
What does the text say? One word, "roar", in rough black brush lettering beside the open mouth.
Is it a photo or a drawing? It is a high-contrast black and white photograph with the lettering added on top.
Print & materials
Every design is made to order on one of three materials:
- Fine art paper — thick archival gallery-grade paper with a smooth matte finish, printed with fade-resistant pigment inks. The choice if you already own a frame.
- Matte canvas — gallery-wrapped over a solid wood stretcher, ready to hang straight out of the box. No glass, no glare.
- Framed canvas in white, black, espresso or natural wood — a slim solid-wood floating frame with the hanging hardware already fitted. Natural and espresso suit warm, timber-heavy rooms; white and black sit better in minimalist and monochrome spaces.
Sizes run from 8 x 12 inches up to large statement pieces, plus A4, A3, A2 and A1 for standard European frames. The exact sizes available for this design are listed in the Size menu above.

Materials
Three ways to print it.
Same artwork, same colour-managed printing — the material decides how it hangs and how much wall it holds.
Fine art paper
Thick archival gallery-grade paper with a smooth matte finish, printed with fade-resistant pigment inks.
- The most affordable option, and the one to pick if you already own a frame.
- Reads slightly softer than canvas.
- Ships rolled in a rigid tube.
Matte canvas
Gallery-wrapped over a solid wood stretcher, ready to hang straight out of the box.
- No glass, so no glare — good for bright rooms.
- Holds a touch more contrast than paper.
- Boxed with corner guards.
Framed canvas
A slim solid-wood floating frame with the hanging hardware already fitted, in white, black, espresso or natural wood.
- Natural and espresso suit warm, timber-heavy rooms.
- White and black sit better in minimalist and monochrome spaces.
- The usual choice for a feature wall — nothing to assemble.
