This Kent Falls State Park watercolor print shows Kent Falls tumbling down stepped grey ledges beside a wooden covered footbridge over Falls Brook. It is an artistic, watercolor-style interpretation of the Connecticut park, not an exact view.
About the artwork
Red and orange maple leaves are built from many transparent layers, and the falls are left white with pale grey shading. Fine brown-grey ink outlines the covered bridge, the stone steps and the railings. The palette mixes maple red, orange and gold with foam white, meadow green and stone grey, plus a turquoise pool at the base. The cascades fall down the right half, seen from the meadow at the base looking up the brook. A flagstone path crosses the green lawn toward the weathered covered bridge, a stepped trail climbs beside the falls on the left, and the Litchfield Hills rise behind. "KENT FALLS" is set in spaced navy capitals across the top.
Why you'll love it
- Covered bridge charm. A small weathered wooden bridge gives the scene a classic New England feel.
- Picnic on the meadow. A family sits on a blanket on grass scattered with red leaves.
- Climbing the steps. Visitors walk the stone stairway that follows the cascades.
- Made to order. Printed after you buy, colour-managed, never warehoused.
Sizes and materials
- Paper — archival matte, rolled and unframed. Thirteen sizes in all: 8" x 12" through 30" x 40", plus A4–A1.
- Matte canvas — stretched on a wooden bar, no glare, ready to hang. 12" x 16" to 30" x 40".
- Framed canvas — solid wood floating frame in white, black, espresso or natural. 12" x 16" to 30" x 40".
- Pigment-based archival inks, rated to resist fading for decades indoors.
Styling it at home
The crimson and gold tones look great in a farmhouse kitchen, a dining room or an entryway with warm wood. Give it to a Connecticut family, a fall-foliage fan or someone who loves weekend drives through the Litchfield Hills.
Shipping and care
Unframed prints ship rolled in a protective tube. Framed canvas arrives ready to hang. Keep prints out of direct sunlight to protect the colour, and dust canvas with a dry, soft cloth.
Questions people ask
Is this an exact view of Kent Falls State Park? No. It is an artistic watercolor interpretation of Kent Falls and its covered bridge, designed to feel like the place rather than copy it exactly.
What text is printed on it? Only the name "KENT FALLS," set in spaced navy capitals across the top. There is no other lettering on the print.
Print & materials
Every design is made to order on one of three materials:
- Fine art paper — thick 200 gsm archival gallery-grade paper with a smooth matte finish, printed with fade-resistant pigment inks. The choice if you already own a frame.
- Matte canvas — gallery-wrapped over a solid wood stretcher, ready to hang straight out of the box. No glass, no glare.
- Framed canvas in white, black, espresso or natural wood — a slim solid-wood floating frame with the hanging hardware already fitted. Natural and espresso suit warm, timber-heavy rooms; white and black sit better in minimalist and monochrome spaces.
Sizes run from 8 x 12 inches up to large statement pieces, plus A4, A3, A2 and A1 for standard European frames. The exact sizes available for this design are listed in the Size menu above.

Materials
Three ways to print it.
Same artwork, same colour-managed printing — the material decides how it hangs and how much wall it holds.
Fine art paper
Thick 200 gsm archival gallery-grade paper with a smooth matte finish, printed with fade-resistant pigment inks.
- The most affordable option, and the one to pick if you already own a frame.
- Reads slightly softer than canvas.
- Ships rolled in a rigid tube.
Matte canvas
Gallery-wrapped over a solid wood stretcher, ready to hang straight out of the box.
- No glass, so no glare — good for bright rooms.
- Holds a touch more contrast than paper.
- Boxed with corner guards.
Framed canvas
A slim solid-wood floating frame with the hanging hardware already fitted, in white, black, espresso or natural wood.
- Natural and espresso suit warm, timber-heavy rooms.
- White and black sit better in minimalist and monochrome spaces.
- The usual choice for a feature wall — nothing to assemble.
