A kitchen wall art print: a tall soda-fountain milkshake drawn in vermilion on blush pink, with Happiness is like milkshake curving around it in cobalt brush type.
About the artwork
The line changes weight as it goes and parallel vertical strokes model the wall of the glass and the striped straw. A block of solid vermilion down one side of the glass does the shadow, and that is the only fill on the page. The glass is the flared soda-fountain shape, topped with a swirl of whipped cream and a long-stemmed cherry, with the twisted striped straw leaning to the right. The two lines of lettering arc above and below, meeting to form an oval that encloses the whole glass.
Why you'll love it
- Cobalt on pink. An unexpected pairing that keeps it from turning twee.
- Type as shape. The two arcs close into an oval around the glass.
- Diner drawing, not diner kitsch. Hand-inked rather than clip-art.
- Made to order. Printed after you buy, colour-managed, never warehoused.
Sizes and materials
- Paper — archival matte, rolled and unframed. Thirteen sizes in all: 8" x 12" through 30" x 40", plus A4–A1.
- Matte canvas — stretched on a wooden bar, no glare, ready to hang. 12" x 16" to 30" x 40".
- Framed canvas — solid wood floating frame in white, black, espresso or natural. 12" x 16" to 30" x 40".
- Pigment-based archival inks, rated to resist fading for decades indoors.
Styling it at home
This is the most playful print in the collection, which makes it a good fit for a kitchen with colour already in it, a kids' dining corner or a games room. The oval of type gives it a strong centre, so it hangs happily alone on a small wall. Natural wood and white frames both work; black tightens it up if the room is otherwise soft.
Shipping and care
Unframed prints ship rolled in a protective tube. Framed canvas arrives ready to hang. Keep prints out of direct sunlight to protect the colour, and dust canvas with a dry, soft cloth.

What are the colours? Vermilion and cobalt on a blush pink ground.
Print & materials
Every design is made to order on one of three materials:
- Fine art paper — thick archival gallery-grade paper with a smooth matte finish, printed with fade-resistant pigment inks. The choice if you already own a frame.
- Matte canvas — gallery-wrapped over a solid wood stretcher, ready to hang straight out of the box. No glass, no glare.
- Framed canvas in white, black, espresso or natural wood — a slim solid-wood floating frame with the hanging hardware already fitted. Natural and espresso suit warm, timber-heavy rooms; white and black sit better in minimalist and monochrome spaces.
Sizes run from 8 x 12 inches up to large statement pieces, plus A4, A3, A2 and A1 for standard European frames. The exact sizes available for this design are listed in the Size menu above.

Three ways to print it.
Same artwork, same colour-managed printing — the material decides how it hangs and how much wall it holds.
Fine art paper
Thick archival gallery-grade paper with a smooth matte finish, printed with fade-resistant pigment inks.
- The most affordable option, and the one to pick if you already own a frame.
- Reads slightly softer than canvas.
- Ships rolled in a rigid tube.
Matte canvas
Gallery-wrapped over a solid wood stretcher, ready to hang straight out of the box.
- No glass, so no glare — good for bright rooms.
- Holds a touch more contrast than paper.
- Boxed with corner guards.
Framed canvas
A slim solid-wood floating frame with the hanging hardware already fitted, in white, black, espresso or natural wood.
- Natural and espresso suit warm, timber-heavy rooms.
- White and black sit better in minimalist and monochrome spaces.
- The usual choice for a feature wall — nothing to assemble.
