A hair rollers heart locket diptych poster in black and white: two stacked photographs of a woman with large rollers in her hair, on a light gray background.
About the artwork
The top frame shows her in profile, lips pursed, holding up an open heart locket on a chain. In the lower frame, she rests her cheek on her hand and looks straight at the camera. Pale nails, several rings and a thin strap repeat in both shots and link the two moments. The pairing reads like a short story: a private thought, then a direct look. The rollers give the whole piece a playful retro feel.
Why you'll love it
- Two moods in one print. A pensive frame and a direct one keep it interesting.
- Charming in a dressing room. The rollers make it a natural fit near a vanity.
- Retro without the sepia. Clean black and white keeps the nostalgia modern.
- Made to order. Printed after you buy, colour-managed, never warehoused.
Sizes and materials
- Paper — archival matte, rolled and unframed. Thirteen sizes in all: 8" x 12" through 30" x 40", plus A4–A1.
- Matte canvas — stretched on a wooden bar, no glare, ready to hang. 12" x 16" to 30" x 40".
- Framed canvas — solid wood floating frame in white, black, espresso or natural. 12" x 16" to 30" x 40".
- Pigment-based archival inks, rated to resist fading for decades indoors.
Styling it at home
Hang it above a vanity table, a bathroom shelf or a bedroom dresser. A white frame keeps the light gray airy, and a black frame divides it neatly from the wall. It sits nicely next to the teacup portrait and the soda can rollers portrait for a lighthearted set of three.
Shipping and care
Unframed prints ship rolled in a protective tube. Framed canvas arrives ready to hang. Keep prints out of direct sunlight to protect the colour, and dust canvas with a dry, soft cloth.
Questions people ask
Is it one print or two? It is one print with two photos stacked inside the same sheet.
Does it have text? No, there is no lettering on this design.
Print & materials
Every design is made to order on one of three materials:
- Fine art paper — thick archival gallery-grade paper with a smooth matte finish, printed with fade-resistant pigment inks. The choice if you already own a frame.
- Matte canvas — gallery-wrapped over a solid wood stretcher, ready to hang straight out of the box. No glass, no glare.
- Framed canvas in white, black, espresso or natural wood — a slim solid-wood floating frame with the hanging hardware already fitted. Natural and espresso suit warm, timber-heavy rooms; white and black sit better in minimalist and monochrome spaces.
Sizes run from 8 x 12 inches up to large statement pieces, plus A4, A3, A2 and A1 for standard European frames. The exact sizes available for this design are listed in the Size menu above.

Thick archival gallery-grade paper with a smooth matte finish, printed with fade-resistant pigment inks.

Matte canvas
Gallery-wrapped over a solid wood stretcher, ready to hang straight out of the box.

Framed canvas
A slim solid-wood floating frame with the hanging hardware already fitted, in white, black, espresso or natural wood.
- Natural and espresso suit warm, timber-heavy rooms.
