This Green Bay watercolor print shows the copper-domed Brown County Courthouse beside the Fox River, seen from above the CityDeck boardwalk. It is an artistic, watercolor-style interpretation of Green Bay, not an exact view of the city.
About the artwork
The river is built from layered blues with scale-like bits of bare paper for sparkle, fine ink outlines the bridge trusses and courthouse columns, and orange autumn leaves bloom in wet washes at the right. River blue, limestone cream and autumn orange lead the palette, with copper green on the dome and iron bridge and red brick warehouses as accents. The courthouse with its clock sits right of center, its dome reaching the top third, while the Fox River bends from the left into the distance under an iron lift bridge with stone towers. Warehouses and a few taller buildings line the far bank, and the wooden CityDeck with seating steps, railings and lamps fills the foreground. Red maples set it in late fall, and blue-yellow washes with drips at both lower corners fade into splatter around a white paper border. "GREEN BAY" is set in spaced navy capitals across the top.
Why you'll love it
- Gulls over the river. Seagulls glide above the water as a small fishing boat leaves a wake.
- CityDeck boardwalk. People in warm jackets stroll and sit on the wooden steps.
- Red maple accents. Bright orange-red maples frame the right side of the view.
- Made to order. Printed after you buy, colour-managed, never warehoused.
Sizes and materials
- Paper — archival matte, rolled and unframed. Thirteen sizes in all: 8" x 12" through 30" x 40", plus A4–A1.
- Matte canvas — stretched on a wooden bar, no glare, ready to hang. 12" x 16" to 30" x 40".
- Framed canvas — solid wood floating frame in white, black, espresso or natural. 12" x 16" to 30" x 40".
- Pigment-based archival inks, rated to resist fading for decades indoors.
Styling it at home
Blue water and autumn orange bring warmth to a family room, a den or an office with wood paneling and plaid. It is a great gift for someone who grew up in Green Bay or a friend who moved away from Wisconsin.
Shipping and care
Unframed prints ship rolled in a protective tube. Framed canvas arrives ready to hang. Keep prints out of direct sunlight to protect the colour, and dust canvas with a dry, soft cloth.
Questions people ask
Is this an exact view of Green Bay? No. It is an artistic interpretation of Green Bay. The courthouse is placed closer to the river than in real life to keep the scene compact.
What text is printed on it? Only the city name, "GREEN BAY," set in spaced navy capitals across the top. There is no other lettering on the print.
Print & materials
Every design is made to order on one of three materials:
- Fine art paper — thick 200 gsm archival gallery-grade paper with a smooth matte finish, printed with fade-resistant pigment inks. The choice if you already own a frame.
- Matte canvas — gallery-wrapped over a solid wood stretcher, ready to hang straight out of the box. No glass, no glare.
- Framed canvas in white, black, espresso or natural wood — a slim solid-wood floating frame with the hanging hardware already fitted. Natural and espresso suit warm, timber-heavy rooms; white and black sit better in minimalist and monochrome spaces.
Sizes run from 8 x 12 inches up to large statement pieces, plus A4, A3, A2 and A1 for standard European frames. The exact sizes available for this design are listed in the Size menu above.

Materials
Three ways to print it.
Same artwork, same colour-managed printing — the material decides how it hangs and how much wall it holds.
Fine art paper
Thick 200 gsm archival gallery-grade paper with a smooth matte finish, printed with fade-resistant pigment inks.
- The most affordable option, and the one to pick if you already own a frame.
- Reads slightly softer than canvas.
- Ships rolled in a rigid tube.
Matte canvas
Gallery-wrapped over a solid wood stretcher, ready to hang straight out of the box.
- No glass, so no glare — good for bright rooms.
- Holds a touch more contrast than paper.
- Boxed with corner guards.
Framed canvas
A slim solid-wood floating frame with the hanging hardware already fitted, in white, black, espresso or natural wood.
- Natural and espresso suit warm, timber-heavy rooms.
- White and black sit better in minimalist and monochrome spaces.
- The usual choice for a feature wall — nothing to assemble.
