This Grand Teton National Park watercolor print shows Mount Moran and the snowy Teton Range above Oxbow Bend on the Snake River in Wyoming, framed by golden aspens. It is an artistic, watercolor-style interpretation of the view, not an exact one.
About the artwork
Fine ink lines draw the rocky ridges of Mount Moran and the pale trunks of the aspens, with the snow of Skillet Glacier left as white paper. Aspen leaves are dabbed thickly in gold, and the blue river carries vertical gold and green reflections. Gold aspens and cottonwoods, river blue and violet-grey rock lead the palette, with dark lodgepole green and grey-green sagebrush. Mount Moran stands at upper left with the rest of the Teton Range stretching right, seen from the Oxbow Bend turnout looking west across the river. Grassy banks with sagebrush and willows fill the foreground, and gold, green and pink drips trail from the lower left. "GRAND TETON" is set in spaced navy capitals across the top.
Why you'll love it
- Peak aspen gold. Glowing aspens and cottonwoods line the river at the height of autumn.
- Moose and pelicans. A moose browsing willows, three white pelicans and a red canoe give the river bend plenty to find.
- River reflections. Gold and green streaks on still water tie the forest and the range together.
- Made to order. Printed after you buy, colour-managed, never warehoused.
Sizes and materials
- Paper — archival matte, rolled and unframed. Thirteen sizes in all: 8" x 12" through 30" x 40", plus A4–A1.
- Matte canvas — stretched on a wooden bar, no glare, ready to hang. 12" x 16" to 30" x 40".
- Framed canvas — solid wood floating frame in white, black, espresso or natural. 12" x 16" to 30" x 40".
- Pigment-based archival inks, rated to resist fading for decades indoors.
Styling it at home
Gold, blue and slate suit a lodge-style living room, a cabin bedroom, or an entryway with warm wood. A good gift for a wildlife watcher, a fall foliage chaser, or a friend who pulled over at Oxbow Bend at sunrise.
Shipping and care
Unframed prints ship rolled in a protective tube. Framed canvas arrives ready to hang. Keep prints out of direct sunlight to protect the colour, and dust canvas with a dry, soft cloth.
Questions people ask
Is this an exact view of Grand Teton National Park? No. It is an artistic watercolor interpretation of Mount Moran and Oxbow Bend; the peaks are stylized rather than drawn as exact portraits, and the river mostly reflects the golden trees.
What text is printed on it? Only the name "GRAND TETON," set in spaced navy capitals across the top. There is no other lettering on the print.
Print & materials
Every design is made to order on one of three materials:
- Fine art paper — thick 200 gsm archival gallery-grade paper with a smooth matte finish, printed with fade-resistant pigment inks. The choice if you already own a frame.
- Matte canvas — gallery-wrapped over a solid wood stretcher, ready to hang straight out of the box. No glass, no glare.
- Framed canvas in white, black, espresso or natural wood — a slim solid-wood floating frame with the hanging hardware already fitted. Natural and espresso suit warm, timber-heavy rooms; white and black sit better in minimalist and monochrome spaces.
Sizes run from 8 x 12 inches up to large statement pieces, plus A4, A3, A2 and A1 for standard European frames. The exact sizes available for this design are listed in the Size menu above.

Materials
Three ways to print it.
Same artwork, same colour-managed printing — the material decides how it hangs and how much wall it holds.

- The most affordable option, and the one to pick if you already own a frame.
- Reads slightly softer than canvas.
- Ships rolled in a rigid tube.
Matte canvas
Gallery-wrapped over a solid wood stretcher, ready to hang straight out of the box.
- No glass, so no glare — good for bright rooms.
- Holds a touch more contrast than paper.
- Boxed with corner guards.
Framed canvas
A slim solid-wood floating frame with the hanging hardware already fitted, in white, black, espresso or natural wood.
- Natural and espresso suit warm, timber-heavy rooms.
- White and black sit better in minimalist and monochrome spaces.
