This Glenwood Springs watercolor print shows the steaming turquoise Glenwood Hot Springs Pool and its red sandstone bathhouse lodge, seen across the snowy Colorado River. It is a watercolor-style interpretation of the town, not an exact view.
About the artwork
Fine ink lines outline arched windows, towers and a passing train, while snow is left as white paper on rocks, roofs and railings. Rising steam is painted in soft, pale streaks, and the river and pool are laid in clear turquoise layers. The pool stretches across the middle with the bathhouse lodge on the left and the twin-towered Hotel Colorado behind it on the right. The view is from a footbridge, with the snowy riverbank and the bridge railing in the foreground, and pine-dotted canyon walls and snowy mountains behind. Pink-red and turquoise drips run down the left edge of this winter scene. "GLENWOOD SPRINGS" is set in spaced navy capitals across the top.
Why you'll love it
- Steam on snow. Warm steam rising from the pool contrasts with the cold white riverbanks.
- Train along the river. A silver passenger train runs along the riverbank through the middle of the scene.
- Turquoise and sandstone. Clear turquoise water against red sandstone gives a crisp winter palette.
- Made to order. Printed after you buy, colour-managed, never warehoused.
Sizes and materials
- Paper — archival matte, rolled and unframed. Thirteen sizes in all: 8" x 12" through 30" x 40", plus A4–A1.
- Matte canvas — stretched on a wooden bar, no glare, ready to hang. 12" x 16" to 30" x 40".
- Framed canvas — solid wood floating frame in white, black, espresso or natural. 12" x 16" to 30" x 40".
- Pigment-based archival inks, rated to resist fading for decades indoors.
Styling it at home
Turquoise, white and sandstone red suit a bathroom, a bedroom with crisp linens, or a ski-lodge style living room. It makes a cozy gift for someone who loves a winter soak, or a keepsake from a train trip through Colorado.
Shipping and care
Unframed prints ship rolled in a protective tube. Framed canvas arrives ready to hang. Keep prints out of direct sunlight to protect the colour, and dust canvas with a dry, soft cloth.
Questions people ask
Is this an exact view of Glenwood Springs? No. It is an artistic interpretation, and some details, like the bathhouse towers, are stylized rather than drawn exactly.
What text is printed on it? Only the name "GLENWOOD SPRINGS," set in spaced navy capitals across the top. There is no other lettering on the print.
Print & materials
Every design is made to order on one of three materials:
- Fine art paper — thick 200 gsm archival gallery-grade paper with a smooth matte finish, printed with fade-resistant pigment inks. The choice if you already own a frame.
- Matte canvas — gallery-wrapped over a solid wood stretcher, ready to hang straight out of the box. No glass, no glare.
- Framed canvas in white, black, espresso or natural wood — a slim solid-wood floating frame with the hanging hardware already fitted. Natural and espresso suit warm, timber-heavy rooms; white and black sit better in minimalist and monochrome spaces.
Sizes run from 8 x 12 inches up to large statement pieces, plus A4, A3, A2 and A1 for standard European frames. The exact sizes available for this design are listed in the Size menu above.

Materials
Three ways to print it.
Same artwork, same colour-managed printing — the material decides how it hangs and how much wall it holds.
Fine art paper
Thick 200 gsm archival gallery-grade paper with a smooth matte finish, printed with fade-resistant pigment inks.
- The most affordable option, and the one to pick if you already own a frame.
- Reads slightly softer than canvas.
- Ships rolled in a rigid tube.
Matte canvas
Gallery-wrapped over a solid wood stretcher, ready to hang straight out of the box.
- No glass, so no glare — good for bright rooms.
- Holds a touch more contrast than paper.
- Boxed with corner guards.
Framed canvas
A slim solid-wood floating frame with the hanging hardware already fitted, in white, black, espresso or natural wood.
- Natural and espresso suit warm, timber-heavy rooms.
- White and black sit better in minimalist and monochrome spaces.
- The usual choice for a feature wall — nothing to assemble.
