An Italian kitchen wall art print: two cupped hands holding a nest of pasta with no plate at all, under full time PASTA LOVER in heavy red type.
About the artwork
There is no bowl and no plate — the pasta sits directly in two open palms, which is the joke and the composition at once. The hands are drawn in a thin, even cobalt line that never quite closes, while the pasta is a flat turmeric mass underneath with individual strands drawn over it in blue. The nest coils into a spiral. Against that thin line sits the thickest brush lettering in the collection, and the outline of the hands runs straight through both blocks of type rather than stopping at them.
Why you'll love it
- No plate. The detail that makes people look twice.
- Thin line, fat type. Two hands deliberately at odds.
- Three inks. Cobalt, turmeric and vermilion on grey-cream.
- Made to order. Printed after you buy, colour-managed, never warehoused.
Sizes and materials
- Paper — archival matte, rolled and unframed. Thirteen sizes in all: 8" x 12" through 30" x 40", plus A4–A1.
- Matte canvas — stretched on a wooden bar, no glare, ready to hang. 12" x 16" to 30" x 40".
- Framed canvas — solid wood floating frame in white, black, espresso or natural. 12" x 16" to 30" x 40".
- Pigment-based archival inks, rated to resist fading for decades indoors.
Styling it at home
The heavy lettering carries a long way, so this print can hold a kitchen wall on its own at a larger size. It suits a room that does not take itself too seriously — a pasta corner, a student kitchen, a dining wall with colour already in it. Black frames match the type; natural wood softens the whole thing.
Shipping and care
Unframed prints ship rolled in a protective tube. Framed canvas arrives ready to hang. Keep prints out of direct sunlight to protect the colour, and dust canvas with a dry, soft cloth.
Questions people ask
What does it say? full time PASTA LOVER, across three lines.
Is the pasta in a bowl? No — it rests directly in two cupped hands.
Print & materials
Every design is made to order on one of three materials:
- Fine art paper — thick archival gallery-grade paper with a smooth matte finish, printed with fade-resistant pigment inks. The choice if you already own a frame.
- Matte canvas — gallery-wrapped over a solid wood stretcher, ready to hang straight out of the box. No glass, no glare.
- Framed canvas in white, black, espresso or natural wood — a slim solid-wood floating frame with the hanging hardware already fitted. Natural and espresso suit warm, timber-heavy rooms; white and black sit better in minimalist and monochrome spaces.
Sizes run from 8 x 12 inches up to large statement pieces, plus A4, A3, A2 and A1 for standard European frames. The exact sizes available for this design are listed in the Size menu above.

Matte canvas
Gallery-wrapped over a solid wood stretcher, ready to hang straight out of the box.

- Boxed with corner guards.
Framed canvas
A slim solid-wood floating frame with the hanging hardware already fitted, in white, black, espresso or natural wood.
- Natural and espresso suit warm, timber-heavy rooms.
