This Fort Worth watercolor print shows cowboys driving Texas Longhorns down Exchange Avenue in the Fort Worth Stockyards, in front of the white Fort Worth Livestock Exchange with its red tile roof. It is an artistic, watercolor-style interpretation of Fort Worth, not an exact view of the city.
About the artwork
Fine ink outlines the terracotta roof tiles, arches, wooden pens and longhorn horns, and the brick street is laid in warm washes with shadows. Red-brown brick and earth lead the palette, with white stucco and green, plus bluebonnet blue, orange-brown and white hides and red roof tiles. The white Mission Revival building with its curved parapet sits on the left, and brick storefronts with wooden porches line the right. Cattle pens and a water tower stand behind, and the herd and riders move through the middle ground. It is late spring with bluebonnets in bloom on the left, and the left edge fades into blue, moss green and orange with drips. "FORT WORTH" is set in spaced navy capitals across the top.
Why you'll love it
- Longhorn drive. Cowboys on horseback guide a herd of longhorns down the brick street.
- Bluebonnet bed. Bright blue Texas wildflowers bloom in the lower left corner.
- Western onlookers. Spectators in cowboy hats watch from behind a wooden rail.
- Made to order. Printed after you buy, colour-managed, never warehoused.
Sizes and materials
- Paper — archival matte, rolled and unframed. Thirteen sizes in all: 8" x 12" through 30" x 40", plus A4–A1.
- Matte canvas — stretched on a wooden bar, no glare, ready to hang. 12" x 16" to 30" x 40".
- Framed canvas — solid wood floating frame in white, black, espresso or natural. 12" x 16" to 30" x 40".
- Pigment-based archival inks, rated to resist fading for decades indoors.
Styling it at home
Earthy reds and browns suit a western-style living room, a ranch house, a man cave or an office with leather. It is a great gift for a proud Texan or a friend who just moved to Cowtown.
Shipping and care
Unframed prints ship rolled in a protective tube. Framed canvas arrives ready to hang. Keep prints out of direct sunlight to protect the colour, and dust canvas with a dry, soft cloth.
Questions people ask
Is this an exact view of Fort Worth? No. This is an artistic interpretation of Fort Worth, and a few details, like the water tower behind the pens, are added or rearranged.
What text is printed on it? Only the city name, "FORT WORTH," set in spaced navy capitals across the top. There is no other lettering on the print.
Print & materials
Every design is made to order on one of three materials:
- Fine art paper — thick 200 gsm archival gallery-grade paper with a smooth matte finish, printed with fade-resistant pigment inks. The choice if you already own a frame.
- Matte canvas — gallery-wrapped over a solid wood stretcher, ready to hang straight out of the box. No glass, no glare.
- Framed canvas in white, black, espresso or natural wood — a slim solid-wood floating frame with the hanging hardware already fitted. Natural and espresso suit warm, timber-heavy rooms; white and black sit better in minimalist and monochrome spaces.
Sizes run from 8 x 12 inches up to large statement pieces, plus A4, A3, A2 and A1 for standard European frames. The exact sizes available for this design are listed in the Size menu above.

Materials
Three ways to print it.
Same artwork, same colour-managed printing — the material decides how it hangs and how much wall it holds.
Fine art paper
Thick 200 gsm archival gallery-grade paper with a smooth matte finish, printed with fade-resistant pigment inks.
- The most affordable option, and the one to pick if you already own a frame.
- Reads slightly softer than canvas.
- Ships rolled in a rigid tube.
Matte canvas
Gallery-wrapped over a solid wood stretcher, ready to hang straight out of the box.
- No glass, so no glare — good for bright rooms.
- Holds a touch more contrast than paper.
- Boxed with corner guards.
Framed canvas
A slim solid-wood floating frame with the hanging hardware already fitted, in white, black, espresso or natural wood.
- Natural and espresso suit warm, timber-heavy rooms.
- White and black sit better in minimalist and monochrome spaces.
- The usual choice for a feature wall — nothing to assemble.
