This Exuma watercolor print shows Pig Beach on Big Major Cay, with pigs paddling through clear turquoise shallows and boats anchored off the white sand. It is an artistic, watercolor-style interpretation of the Bahamas island chain, not an exact view.
About the artwork
The water is laid in thin turquoise washes with a net of ripples left as white paper, so you can see the pigs' legs below the surface. Gray limestone in the lower left is drawn with fine, pitted ink lines, and the pigs carry a soft pinkish-brown tint. The view looks down from the rocky shore over a crescent of white sand, where a sow and piglets wander by green scrub, while three pigs swim out toward motorboats and a sailboat at anchor. Behind them, the low Exuma Cays line up on a flat sea under pale clouds, in the calm, warm dry season. Splashes of blue and yellow and a long drip soften the lower left edge, and a white paper border frames the scene. "EXUMA" is set in spaced navy capitals across the top.
Why you'll love it
- Swimming pigs. Three pigs paddle through glass-clear water, and you can see their legs through the turquoise.
- Layered sea colors. Turquoise, aquamarine and sapphire bands step out from the sandbar toward the horizon.
- Small island scenes. A snorkeler, a tour boat and a mother pig with piglets on the sand reward a closer look.
- Made to order. Printed after you buy, colour-managed, never warehoused.
Sizes and materials
- Paper — archival matte, rolled and unframed. Thirteen sizes in all: 8" x 12" through 30" x 40", plus A4–A1.
- Matte canvas — stretched on a wooden bar, no glare, ready to hang. 12" x 16" to 30" x 40".
- Framed canvas — solid wood floating frame in white, black, espresso or natural. 12" x 16" to 30" x 40".
- Pigment-based archival inks, rated to resist fading for decades indoors.
Styling it at home
The turquoise and white palette suits a beach-house living room, a bright bathroom or a bedroom with sandy linens and light wood. It makes a cheerful gift for someone who sailed the Exuma Cays or met the swimming pigs on vacation.
Shipping and care
Unframed prints ship rolled in a protective tube. Framed canvas arrives ready to hang. Keep prints out of direct sunlight to protect the colour, and dust canvas with a dry, soft cloth.
Questions people ask
Is this an exact view of Exuma? No. It is an artistic watercolor interpretation of Pig Beach and the Exuma Cays. Some details, including the viewpoint, are simplified or rearranged for the composition.
What text is printed on it? Only the name "EXUMA," set in spaced navy capitals across the top. There is no other lettering on the print.
Print & materials
Every design is made to order on one of three materials:
- Fine art paper — thick 200 gsm archival gallery-grade paper with a smooth matte finish, printed with fade-resistant pigment inks. The choice if you already own a frame.
- Matte canvas — gallery-wrapped over a solid wood stretcher, ready to hang straight out of the box. No glass, no glare.
- Framed canvas in white, black, espresso or natural wood — a slim solid-wood floating frame with the hanging hardware already fitted. Natural and espresso suit warm, timber-heavy rooms; white and black sit better in minimalist and monochrome spaces.
Sizes run from 8 x 12 inches up to large statement pieces, plus A4, A3, A2 and A1 for standard European frames. The exact sizes available for this design are listed in the Size menu above.

Matte canvas
Gallery-wrapped over a solid wood stretcher, ready to hang straight out of the box.

Framed canvas
A slim solid-wood floating frame with the hanging hardware already fitted, in white, black, espresso or natural wood.
