This Emerald Lake, BC watercolor print shows the glacial lake's intense green water, with Emerald Lake Lodge on a forested point and a wooden footbridge leading to it. It is an artistic, watercolor-style interpretation of the Yoho National Park lake, not an exact view.
About the artwork
The water is layered in deep emerald with spruce reflections and white paper highlights, and pebbles show through the shallows. Snowy peaks and the glacier are left as bare paper with violet-blue shadows, while the cabins and bridge are drawn in fine ink. From the southern shore near the footbridge, the cedar-shingled lodge sits on the point at center, the long bridge on stone piers crosses on the right, and a canoe dock with red canoes and a log hut fills the left. The President Range rises behind with its glacier, and clear water, rocks and young spruce fill the foreground in midsummer. Green and pink splashes with drips at both lower corners fade into a white paper border. "EMERALD LAKE" is set in spaced navy capitals across the top.
Why you'll love it
- True emerald water. Layer upon layer of green gives the lake its deep jewel color.
- Canoe dock in red. A row of red canoes at the dock and a paddling pair on the lake add warm contrast.
- Lodge on the point. The cedar lodge and long footbridge give the wild scene a cozy focal point.
- Made to order. Printed after you buy, colour-managed, never warehoused.

Styling it at home
Emerald green, snowy white and spruce tones bring calm to a bedroom, a bathroom or a cabin-style family room. Give it to someone who canoed the lake in Yoho, or as a keepsake for a mountain wedding or anniversary.

Print & materials
Every design is made to order on one of three materials:
- Fine art paper — thick 200 gsm archival gallery-grade paper with a smooth matte finish, printed with fade-resistant pigment inks. The choice if you already own a frame.
- Matte canvas — gallery-wrapped over a solid wood stretcher, ready to hang straight out of the box. No glass, no glare.
- Framed canvas in white, black, espresso or natural wood — a slim solid-wood floating frame with the hanging hardware already fitted. Natural and espresso suit warm, timber-heavy rooms; white and black sit better in minimalist and monochrome spaces.
Sizes run from 8 x 12 inches up to large statement pieces, plus A4, A3, A2 and A1 for standard European frames. The exact sizes available for this design are listed in the Size menu above.
