A farm nursery wall art print of a small lamb caught mid-dance, one leg lifted and both arms out, inside a cream scalloped oval set on a sprigged wildflower background.
About the artwork
The lamb wears a long pleated coat in warm brown with a faint golden sheen in the folds, a cream polka dot bow at the collar and a pointed brown party hat with a crosshatch pattern. Its eyes are closed and its cheeks are pink, as if it is humming along to the music. Soft white fleece curls around its face and shows at the cuffs of its legs. The scalloped oval is a plain pale cream, leaving plenty of quiet space around the small figure. Outside the frame, a butter-cream ground is scattered with fine olive herb sprigs and clusters of peach wildflowers, drawn with thin etched-looking lines.
Why you'll love it
- Full of movement. A dancing pose brings a little joy to a calm wall.
- Soft storybook palette. Brown, cream, olive and peach stay gentle together.
- Pattern and space. A busy sprig ground frames an open, restful center.
- Made to order. Printed after you buy, colour-managed, never warehoused.
Sizes and materials
- Paper — archival matte, rolled and unframed. Thirteen sizes in all: 8" x 12" through 30" x 40", plus A4–A1.
- Matte canvas — stretched on a wooden bar, no glare, ready to hang. 12" x 16" to 30" x 40".
- Framed canvas — solid wood floating frame in white, black, espresso or natural. 12" x 16" to 30" x 40".
- Pigment-based archival inks, rated to resist fading for decades indoors.
Styling it at home
Hang it above a changing dresser or next to a rocking chair in a nursery dressed in oatmeal, sage and warm wood. A natural or white frame keeps it light, while espresso picks up the brown of the coat. It pairs well with the other herb-sprig wallpaper prints in this range, such as the bear with the yellow umbrella.
Shipping and care
Unframed prints ship rolled in a protective tube. Framed canvas arrives ready to hang. Keep prints out of direct sunlight to protect the colour, and dust canvas with a dry, soft cloth.
Questions people ask
Is the coat really metallic? No. The golden sheen is part of the painted look and prints flat on matte paper or canvas.
Does it suit a boy or girl nursery? Either. The warm neutrals and olive green work for any baby, and there is no text on the print.
Print & materials
Every design is made to order on one of three materials:
- Fine art paper — thick archival gallery-grade paper with a smooth matte finish, printed with fade-resistant pigment inks. The choice if you already own a frame.
- Matte canvas — gallery-wrapped over a solid wood stretcher, ready to hang straight out of the box. No glass, no glare.
- Framed canvas in white, black, espresso or natural wood — a slim solid-wood floating frame with the hanging hardware already fitted. Natural and espresso suit warm, timber-heavy rooms; white and black sit better in minimalist and monochrome spaces.
Sizes run from 8 x 12 inches up to large statement pieces, plus A4, A3, A2 and A1 for standard European frames. The exact sizes available for this design are listed in the Size menu above.

Materials
Three ways to print it.
Same artwork, same colour-managed printing — the material decides how it hangs and how much wall it holds.
Fine art paper
Thick archival gallery-grade paper with a smooth matte finish, printed with fade-resistant pigment inks.
- The most affordable option, and the one to pick if you already own a frame.
- Reads slightly softer than canvas.
- Ships rolled in a rigid tube.
Matte canvas
Gallery-wrapped over a solid wood stretcher, ready to hang straight out of the box.
- No glass, so no glare — good for bright rooms.
- Holds a touch more contrast than paper.
- Boxed with corner guards.
Framed canvas
A slim solid-wood floating frame with the hanging hardware already fitted, in white, black, espresso or natural wood.
- Natural and espresso suit warm, timber-heavy rooms.
- White and black sit better in minimalist and monochrome spaces.
- The usual choice for a feature wall — nothing to assemble.
