A boho sun wall art print that reverses the usual colours: a cream sun and cream rays on a warm tan terracotta ground.
About the artwork
The sun is a solid cream circle set low in the sheet, about two thirds of the way down, ringed by a thin terracotta line and a cream outer edge. Around eighteen rays burst out from it, each drawn as two fine parallel lines, and they run all the way to the top, sides and bottom of the frame. Because the sun sits low, the longest rays fan up across most of the sheet. The terracotta ground has a gentle watercolour mottle, and there is no text.
Why you'll love it
- Sunny without being loud. Cream and tan keep the energy soft.
- Fills the frame. Rays reach every edge, so it holds a large wall.
- Warm neutral palette. Suits boho, desert and modern rustic rooms.
- Made to order. Printed after you buy, colour-managed, never warehoused.
Sizes and materials
- Paper — archival matte, rolled and unframed. Thirteen sizes in all: 8" x 12" through 30" x 40", plus A4–A1.
- Matte canvas — stretched on a wooden bar, no glare, ready to hang. 12" x 16" to 30" x 40".
- Framed canvas — solid wood floating frame in white, black, espresso or natural. 12" x 16" to 30" x 40".
- Pigment-based archival inks, rated to resist fading for decades indoors.
Styling it at home
The rays radiate outward, so give it a central spot: above a bed, a sofa or a fireplace. Pair it with rattan, macramé, terracotta planters and cream bouclé. A white frame lifts the cream lines; natural oak suits the warm ground. Hang it beside a terracotta sun on cream for a light-and-dark pair.
Shipping and care
Unframed prints ship rolled in a protective tube. Framed canvas arrives ready to hang. Keep prints out of direct sunlight to protect the colour, and dust canvas with a dry, soft cloth.
Questions people ask
Is the sun cream or orange? The sun and rays are cream; the background is a tan terracotta.
Do the rays go to the edges? Yes — every ray runs off the edge of the print.
Print & materials
Every design is made to order on one of three materials:
- Fine art paper — thick archival gallery-grade paper with a smooth matte finish, printed with fade-resistant pigment inks. The choice if you already own a frame.
- Matte canvas — gallery-wrapped over a solid wood stretcher, ready to hang straight out of the box. No glass, no glare.
- Framed canvas in white, black, espresso or natural wood — a slim solid-wood floating frame with the hanging hardware already fitted. Natural and espresso suit warm, timber-heavy rooms; white and black sit better in minimalist and monochrome spaces.
Sizes run from 8 x 12 inches up to large statement pieces, plus A4, A3, A2 and A1 for standard European frames. The exact sizes available for this design are listed in the Size menu above.

Matte canvas
Gallery-wrapped over a solid wood stretcher, ready to hang straight out of the box.

Framed canvas
A slim solid-wood floating frame with the hanging hardware already fitted, in white, black, espresso or natural wood.
- Natural and espresso suit warm, timber-heavy rooms.
